Lightweight Baby! I Made Those 120s My B* Finally back in my the 120lb dumbbell overhead press club. Usually the shoulder pinches when I try to get the 120s up on my own but not this time. Thanks to @teamwodnation voodoo floss on my shoulder and elbows with @lifeovanthony's help. I need to start voodoo flossing more my shoulder and elbows more. They really helped with the elbow tendonitis and tight, impinged shoulder. I always floss my knees when squatting and they are feeling great. Just never comes to mind on upper body -- probably because I need to ask for help since it is impossible to do it on your own. If anyone runs into me in the gym and wants to try some voodoo flossing, let me know. I always bring it with me and only takes a minute or two and you can feel it. Also thanks to @nordiclifting for their fabric sleeves that kept my elbows stable and secure once the voodoo floss has worked it's magic. The standing dumbbell (or barbell) overhead press can be a staple exercise in almost any training program. Ideally, you’d want to perform this movement with your elbows slightly in front of your body (as opposed to being completely out to your sides). Big Delts in Big Surf City Had to blow off the dust on the 110lbs here in Huntington Beach Super Sport. @sikboyz and I were getting the side eye 😒 like usual while we were trying to push weight. Reminds me of the Yorba Linda 24Hr vibe with the energy being lower and feels less social. Might be better for some people but I like that high energy, positive motivation of others making gainz.
