Never did I imagine in my wildest dreams that I would lose 15 or 20kg let alone over 45!!🤯 Moral to the story is you don’t need to have everything sorted out in order to have success or to make progress. By cutting out junk foods/sugary drinks, monitoring portion control and starting with minimal walking a few times a week I managed to lose weight. Not only did the number start to shift on the scale, but I felt a shift I’m myself- a sense of achievement and self-satisfaction. From then onwards I knew that I didn’t need to go on a restrictive ✌🏻diet✌🏻 or exercise regime to lose weight. It’s so important to go at your own pace, and if that slow and steady 🐢 so be it. T I K K A M A S A L A! Tikka masala is a spiced curry dish made with a creamy orange sauce originally from India and Scotland. This dish usually features, chicken, cream, tomato, onion, garlic, ginger, chili pepper, and sometimes coconut! I made this tikka masala vegetarian for myself & switched up the recipe from @greenchef (@son.of.lars got the chicken thigh version 😂). The tomato sauce was made from garam masala, cumin, paprika, cream cheese, and turmeric to provide that spicy kick 🔥. Instead of using rice, Green Chef provided cauliflower rice for extra veggie and fiber power!! I topped this dish off crushed & toasted cashews — it was delish! 😋

Breakfast 👉🏼 @daveskillerbread + sautéed spinach + a fresh juicy tomato 🍅 + leftover guac 🥑 + a runny egg 🍳 . . This wonderfully balanced breakfast is going to help me roll through the day with great satisfaction. 👊🏼 Whenever building a meal, I think, okay make sure to have a carb + a protein + veggies. 💯 That’s what I did here, I started with my toast for the sandwich, added in an egg, and then spinach, guacamole, and tomato. Sounds like I meant all the criteria 😏

Ahh, day 1 is HERE🤗. Over the past 6 weeks I have COMMITTED, CLIMBED and CONQUERED during a 6 week program (results to be revealed soon). Today I will embrace The 21 Day Ultimate Reset. During the next 21 days I will RECLAIM, RELEASE and RESTORE🙌 I'm not going to lie, I'm feeling slightly overwhelmed and intimidated! This week has been a little hectic with a new puppy in our home but that hasn’t stopped me from providing my body with the nourishment it needs! This picture was taken when our cousin so lovingly made shakshuka for us. (I’m working on getting the recipe from him!)
