So this morning after my run I decided to do something that I had never felt comfortable doing before: stretching in public. Normally, I finish my run, drive home and stretch.. I just have never felt comfortable stretching in public. Possibly because I had heard people throwing around words like "attention seeker" or "showoff" in the past. But. The many faces from my workout! I don’t know what happened this morning... but THANK GOODNESS it’s over with!!! Ugh.. it’s showing me how much more I can improve... A LOT!! And my response is... I’ve got this, I’m ok with it! ▫️ The struggles show you how much more you can improve! Take what’s hard and build on it! It will make you stronger and make even better than you can imagine! I could say I quit.. but that’s never an option. I say BRING IT ON and let me see what I can do! ▫️ Do you give up or do you keep going strong??

It makes me upset to see how sad I look in this picture. This is one year ago and I’m in the midst of a deep depression. There’s no worse feeling than feeling stuck in your own body. I’m thankful for all that I’ve learned about myself and about taking care of my health in this past year. My goal for next year is to be healthy, happy, and not to be afraid of food!
