👩🏾‍💻TOP TRACKS OF THE WEEK👩🏾‍💻 Bryson Tiller’s sophomore album “True To Self” which dropped in 2017 didn’t get the warmest of receptions from me as it didn’t measure up to the greatness that is “Trapsoul”. After revisiting the album a year later, I found a gem on there that I absolutely can’t stop playing every single day and also samples Faith Evans. Frank Ocean’s overlooked 2016 “Blonde” album was one of my favourites of that year. This particular song from the project was obviously an immediate fave of mine as it features Beyoncé! Their collaborations are always soothing, melodic songs and this one is no different. I don’t remember how I came across Mikhala Jene’s music but I recently got around to listening to her 2018 “California Blues” album. This song I’ve chosen stuck out from the project and it’s great to listen to when you need a mood changing song that’s got a chill vibe to it. Last but not least, this song is another favourite of mine from Solange’s “When I Get Home”. 🚨Check out these songs and my other selections on my Top Tracks Of The Week playlist on Apple Music and Spotify- links in bio. {Original video was embarrassing} Money’s growing like grass with the mass appeal! Sample: Vic Juris - Horizon Drive Rating: 100/10 (Amazing Score!) My Thoughts/Opinions: The sample for Mass Appeal is well-thought. An obscure jazz record turned into the most classic hip hop record of all time. Thanks @djpremier and guru, you’ll never be forgotten.
