“And now, little children, abide in him, so that when he appears we may have confidence and not shrink from him in shame at his coming.” ‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:28‬ ‭ Abide in Him. Love Him. Exercise your faith in Him and your hope in Him. Live in His truth and ordinances. Hold fast to His Gospel and His Word. Why? So that when Jesus comes back, we can stand in absolute confidence. While the wicked will run to the hills in terror and trembling at the sight of Jesus, we will be made like Him, clothed in His righteousness. The confidence that we now come before the throne of mercy with is the confidence we will stand at the throne of Judgement with. . We will not be ashamed in our faith and abiding in Him, and He will neither be ashamed of us. We will stand before Him without fault or blemish as a perfected and beautiful bride. . This is why we abide... because one day our faith will be made sight. And what a glorious day that will be! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼

I took a walk and finally went to a spot I've always wanted to see! There's a bridge to nowhere in Central Point you can see driving on the freeway. It starts to go across Bear Creek, but stops about a quarter of the way across. It was fenced off, but someone (probably a hoodlum) cut a convenient hole to get to it. Check out my video on YouTube to see the cool bridge to nowhere! There's a link in my bio!
