Guys, no part of me wanted to workout. I was tired, a little sore and was not in the mood to run or walk. But I told myself I’ll try for at least 20 minutes. I knew i couldn’t step on a treadmill (really wasn’t feeling it at all). So I went on the elliptical after YEARS. It’s okay to switch things up. Honor what your mind & heart want. Just don’t give up. 35 mins LISS on the elliptical today is done ✅

Happy Wednesday! Today started off amazing because I slept from 10:30-5 WITHOUT WAKING UP! I’ve been struggling hard to get good, quality sleep. Even though it was only 6.5 hours, it was straight through & that felt GOOD. People always say, “I’ll sleep when I’m dead.” BUT your health & longevity of your life is dependent on how you take care of your body...which includes SLEEP! I don’t know why our society praises people who don’t sleep because they are “hustling.” In reality, they probably don’t feel their best physically & mentally. Do your body a favor tonight & make sure you get to bed at a decent time & get your 😴 ! Your body will thank you!

Eat better, not less. I was really craving a salad (plus my romaine was about to go bad) so I put this super simple meal together! Kidney beans cooked with hot sauce on romaine 🤗. On that note, I’m convinced people who say they eat salads with no dressing at all (just nutritional yeast) are just doin it for the gram, and they subsequently douse their greens in a dressing 😂. Your food should be tasty! You deserve to eat nutritious AND yummy food. 💓 - LISS and Week 14 Legs done yesterday. Arms today! 💪
