Min mor og far blev gift i weekenden på en smuk påskelørdag (efter hele 36 år sammen), og jeg er nu efter de gamle dyder et lidt mere “ægte” barn. #bastard #bryllup credits: @mikkelbarkler

Great perspective from a Marine who’s been on more deployments than most men’s number of sexual partners @ech@echoinramadi. . If you haven’t read his book yet you should, and if you aren’t following him you need to. Wisdom and experience combined into a an amazing leader and awesome person. . . . #Repost @echoinramadi ・・・ LOOKING BACK | 30 years ago on this day – I had just turned 19-years-old and was thrown into the world’s most feared and respected bastion of training – Marine Corps Boot Camp at MCRD San Diego. . . Looking back, it was a decision and a starting point in a career that would ultimately shape my life into the type of man I would become. The Marine Corps never defined me as a person, of who I am inside, but it most certainly made me better in ways that I cannot describe. Better because of the people. The experiences – both good and terrible. The excitement. The challenges. The love for our fellow Marines. . If anyone ever asks me if I have any regrets about joining the Marine Corps my answer is always the same – “No.” I was privileged to either be a Marine or lead Marines throughout my entire 24-year career. . When asked if I would do it all over again my answer is the same – now our ethos is passed to this generation of warfighters. I now sit protected by those whom I trained, those I led, and those who will step on the Yellow Footprints today.
