In today's insta world, I see SO many posts that talk about meal prep. 🥕⠀ ⠀ And while meal planning can be an extremely useful way to stay on track during the week, it can be a load of stress for others. 😣⠀ ⠀ You see, I've had A LOT of people come up to me and ask "do I have to meal prep to be healthy? I absolutely hate it". 😩⠀ ⠀ The answer? Absolutely not!⠀ ⠀ Meal planning and prepping originated because people had a hard time making healthy meal choices after a long, busy day. And it IS useful for some people. 👍🏼⠀ ⠀ If you're like me, you'd rather decide what you're having the day of. And that's okay! I usually recommend writing down a rough draft of the meals you'd like to have for the week, so you know what groceries to buy. Then, pick your meal that day! ⠀ ⠀ I find that people feel like there is only ONE way to be healthy and it can really stress them out. ⠀ ⠀ If you like to meal prep, that's cool. If you don't, then don't feel guilty about it! We all work differently and therefore there is no single cookie cutter way to health. 🍪⠀ ⠀ Do you like to meal plan/prep? Or do you like to "wing" it?
