#tot#totd> The Slingshots main goal is to squeeze the elbows in, we need to fight hard with elbows out just to get close to mimicking our exact bench position.
On the descent the sling squeezes the elbows in through two points of contact. We get used to this amount of tension and fight out just the right amount to counter it to keep the elbows out/forearms vertical. BUT! As soon as the Slingshot touches the chest the tension is amplified through three points of contact and drags the elbows together even harder. As soon as the Slingshot starts to bend around the chest and the bar is getting close, we need to drive elbows out and chest up into the Slingshot to get our own maximal amount of tension into the sling to get the biggest pop out of the bottom as possible while remaining the exact form we see on our raw bench. @marksmellybell@mbslingshot#androidbodies#buildinghumanmachines #totd #tipoftheday#benchpress#slingshot#guelph#powerlifting#fitness
