One of my favorite #Otterbein staff members is Curtis Smith! Curtis, is the Maker Space and Lab Operations Manager at The Point. When working with him, I always learn something new! He is a fantastic source when it comes to technology at The Point. Thank you to everyone who has been following my #TuesdayTakeover ! Enjoy the rest of your week!!
The Maker Space staff at The Point are in the process of making a foosball table. Each player will be an #Otterbein faculty or staff member. The Point’s innovative technology, allows for each person to be digitally scanned into a player. After the scanning process is complete, we are then able to have another machine carve out the person. The foosball table will be open to students once the completion phase of construction is complete! #TuesdayTakeover#ThePoint
Welcome to the completion phase of construction at The Point! I am a student worker at this innovative STEAM building. I work in the Maker Space helping students use the laser engraver, wood shop, 3D printers, and more! This space is a great opportunity for students to get some hands on STEAM learning. I can’t wait until the building is finished! #Otterbein#TuesdayTakeover#ThePoint
Say hello to my 8 a.m. Studio Art Class. This semester, I’ve been able to further practice my drawing skills. My class has been able to draw multiple still lifes and even a nude model. I love how the #Otterbein Art Department allows its students to practice the freedom of creativity! #TuesdayTakeover
Check out our intern Katie! @ktcah Shes taking over Otterbein’s social media! 😆

This semester, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to be a Graphic Design and Communications Intern for the Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce. My position has brought me many opportunities to strengthen my resume. I have also been able to network and get a better sense of the business atmosphere. Ironically, both of my supervisors are #Otterbein Alumni! #GoCards#TuesdayTakeover
