Adding distortion to a signal can really help something stick out of the mix. For example when you want the lead vocals to sit on top rather get lost in the mix you can duplicate a track add some distortion on the second track and blend it with the original signal. This may be a subtle change but these slight changes are what makes the difference in the good or bad mix.
What are some of your tricks for mixing vocals?🎶🎶
Thanks @adamsmith.official for this visual!✌️
The haas effect has been a proven trick to help widen the sound of a track by adding the slightest bit of delay to one side of your stereo image. This trick adds so much depth by making the left or right signal hit your ear just milliseconds before the opposite signal reach's your ear. Thank you @adamsmith.official for this image!! ✌️🎶🎶 Have you ever used the haas effect on your production? What are your thoughts?
Jo checkt diesen Beat aus, ich habe einen Song daraus gemacht. Was denkt ihr worum es in dem Song gehen wird?🤔
