"Living for the Weekend"
Take a minute to think about how many days you have waisted waiting for the weekend... If you're anything like me the answer is probably more than you'd like. I have been thinking about this a lot lately. The idea of idling by for 5 days clinging to high hopes for what the weekend may bring only for it to whizz by in less than what seems to be a few hours is sickening.
I don't believe it is a healthy way to live. I have always been a firm believer that if you don't like something in your life its up to you to change it. Its time to start spending more time doing things that make you happy, go on that trip you've always wanted, take that job that sounds amazing, quit living in fear of what if and start living in the bliss of what now. Its time for a change and there is no better time than now.
"Mind over matter."
"You can do whatever you set your mind to."
Look, I'm not preaching that you can run through walls if "you put your mind to it."
I just want you all to know that you all have beautiful minds. Don't underestimate yours.
I like to think of my mind as a frenemy.
Sometimes my mind does well at keeping me sane, motivated, and centered.
But my mind also has the power to make me believe that I'm worthless.
I've come a long way to cultivate the mindset and mental endurance that I currently have.
What can you do to re-center yourself?
