*Workout Wednesday* @victoria_training —————— HIP THRUSTS: Still one of the exercises I see done badly potentially just causing lower back pain. If you feel your lower back or more your quads or your hamstrings when doing these then read along and watch the video as well. . - use appropriate weight. ( There is no point bouncing up and down a too heavy weight for you) . -keep chin tucked in ( yes, get that double chin look) don’t let your head off when you push the weight up . - before you move the weight up really think about where you want to feel it (no,not in your lower back )-> engage your glutes. . - extend your hip up and at the top tilt your pelvis under. (No , not midway through the lift) . -lower the weight down until you feel you don't start compromising with other muscles ( for example quads) .
