When I first got Maizee over six years ago, I knew very little about dog nutrition. When we adopted her, they had her on science diet puppy kibble, and sixteen year old me decided to switch her to blue buffalo. As she grew, as well as myself, I researched about how to provide more for her. I changed up her kibble I don’t know how many times. I added raw eggs, fish oils, and eventually I started adding raw chews. I was terrified to give her raw meat cause all I heard from the pet food industry was how it was so bad for dogs. But after joining more pet nutrition groups, I felt confident enough to fully switch to a raw diet just before her third birthday. By the time I got Timber, I was eager to start feeding him raw goodies as I had seen the dramatic benefits a raw diet had done with Maizee. Now I can’t imagine feeding them anything other than a raw diet. We currently feed @big@bigcountryraw and I love how easy they make feeding raw. Had they been out this way four years ago I would’ve switched her so much easier! .
What’s in the bowl? @bigcountryraw Turkey Salmon Lamb blend, duck neck, smelt, blueberries, dehydrated turkey hearts, hemp oil and curcumin powder. Who can guess how fast this was scarfed down? 🤤 #bcrfuelsreps#whatsinyourbcrbowl
These three are so amazing together! Way back when we first met @thevandogs (2014 or so) Maizee was not a fan of Angel and in turn Angel avoided Maizee at all costs. Fast forward to now and Maizee is kissing Angel and loving on her whenever she visits! Angel is definitely a Queen whenever she comes by, the dogs love and respect her so much ❤️
Moving day went fairly smoothly! We were lucky to have a ton of people helping that we were able to get out of the old place, and everything in the new within a few hours! The dogs are loving the new house, especially now that they have a yard to play in!
