💫Chakra's and Gut Health... are they related? Chakra's nourish the energy system, brain, spinal cord and peripheral nervous system. They are capable of processing and receiving data in the form of subtle energy through transformers that flow through our bodies called Nadi's. There are 72,000 Nadi's in our body. Nadi's support our nerve plexus and our endocrine system which sends signals to our glands to help us regulate hormones. All of this from "energy wheels" that we cannot see. Our emotions play a significant role on our health and our chakra's need to be in alignment so that all systems are open and working together in harmony.
Beginning at the base of our spine we have: 1 chakra which is related to our kidneys, large intestines, bladder, adrenal and catabolic processes. When our first chakra is out of balance we can feel selfish, competitive and feel that our survival is threatened.
2. chakra is related to our ovaries, prostate, uterus and reproductive system. When our second chakra is out of balance we feel fear, lust and "misplaced" sexual energy.
3. chakra is related to our stomach, spleen, pancreas, liver, gallbladder, whole intestine and anabolic processes. When our third chakra is out of balance we feel angry, pride, indignant and resentful.
4 chakra is related to our thymus, immunity and heart and when our fourth chakra is out of balance we feel loss, hurt and jealousy.
5 chakra is related to lungs, thyroid, throat and speech organs. When our fifth chakra is out of balance we feel frustration and not free to express.
6 chakra is related to our pituitary gland, eyes and middle part of our brain. When our sixth chakra is out of balance we lack mental clarity and cognitive confusion.
7 chakra is related to our pineal gland and cerebral cortex and when it is out of balance we feel a lack in spiritual satisfaction, inner fulfillment, spiritual despair and depression.
Feeling one or more of these emotions are normal and a part of our human experience but it's when these emotions take over and become a daily part of our existence is when we need to take action to bring all back into balance. Are you interested in going deeper?
