#bestweek #belongil AMAZING, felt like we’ve spent the last week sleeping on the beach.. the sound of the waves 👌 spotting so many whales on their migration to the Barrier Reef. In less than 50 years the population has recovered from 300 to 35,000 last year 👊 Caught up with old Greenhouse and @brothl friends too, so good to have the fermented barley salad @bayleafcafe batteries recharged thankYOU to friends that made this happen! 😉

Catch up with these two legends! @sallycapp_ #robadams - Rob Adams was the man that came up with the idea to put the Greenhouse in Fed Square back in 2008 and when Sally was based in London she worked hard trying to find us a more permanent site for the Greenhouse. So good to catch up again!

A few years ago @margaret__zhang asked me for some of my favourite locations to shoot around my home - wanted to include some stuff that was flowering ... in the middle of winter it was a struggle to find. Some Vulcan Magnolias were starting to pop and nearby was also something flowering that looked and smelt amazing and was full of bees. I asked @jft@jftnurseries if they knew what it was.. they didn’t but grafted 50 for me anyway. They called me this week to say they are ready! Now I’ve planted my own. ThankYOU @jftnurseries we now know it’s an ornamental Apricot. Can’t wait to use it in my floral work. 👊 incredible images by [email protected]__zhang 👊👊 Location - #dandenongranges 👊👊👊

Five years ago today Guy and Belinda opened @theroadstall in Spring Street Melbourne. A business started in Monbulk by Belinda’s dad in the 1970’s. What’s unique about this little shop is that it only sells locally grown flowers, celebrating what’s in season. 👊 Back in 2013 @dkitney wrote a brilliant story about them and the industry for @the.australian and how imported flowers are affecting local growers. Love this image taken out the front of the original store in Monbulk back then 👌 @guymcdermott
