We are raffling off a rustic wood, “Thin Red Line” flag. There are two of the Fallen Ffr. Coins that are inlaid into the flag, it is truly a beautiful piece. •Tickets are $5/ea or 5/$20.

On a beautiful, clear Tuesday morning, the United States of America was rocked by religious radicals and terrorists. A day that changed our world forever, a day that will never, ever be forgotten. We continue to remember everyone that was involved that day, involved since, and continues to be affected by 9/11/01. #NeverForget#USA#ProudAmerican#IAFF#FDNY#NYPD
On Aug 16, 2018, members of L1590 filed a lawsuit against the City of Wilmington holding them accountable for damages- physical, mental, and other- resulting from the deadly fire on Sept. 24, 2016 where 3 Wilmington Firefighters were killed, and multiple injured from a structure fire and subsequent collapse in the Canby Park section of Wilmington. Ignoring the pleas from the Firefighters’ Association, and against the mayor’s own transition teams’ recommendations, the practice of “Rolling Bypass/Brownouts/Conditional Company Closure” continued. The first due Engine (6), was closed the fateful night of Sept 24th, and we back our brothers, sisters, and the fallen Ffr’s families that contend that if that company had been open, we wouldn’t have had to bury 3 of our own, or have multiple Ffrs leave the job due to physical and mental injuries sustained that day. We will never forget, and we continue to fight for what is right. #IAFF#UnionStrong#UnionProud
Some lasting photos from the #IAF#IAFFennialConvention. Proud to represent Wilmington, L1590; as well as the whole State of Delaware. Lots of positive connections and relationships made, looking forward to put tactics and programs to work, of which we learned here. 100 down, here’s to the next 100! #IAFF #WhateverItTakes#UnionProud#WhenWeFightWeWin
