So this last month has been full of change. 1st. My diet. Trying to consume almost 4000 calories a day feels next to impossible. My prior caloric goal was 2500. I also brought back “clean white carbs” ie. white rice, oatmeal, potatoes. I used to get all my carbs from black bean. 2nd. Training style. During the #embracethesuckchallenge the workouts were very high in volume. I’ve made my own workouts for the last month. 5 days traditional weight lifting 2 heavy movements 8x10 reps followed by superset accessory movements 3-4 different combinations. 3rd. Stretching. I wasn’t taking the time to rest and stretch on a regular basis. Now I stretch and roll a few days a week. (Usually every other day) 4th. Rest day. It’s a cardio day. I do light cardio at the beginning of each workout. But on rest day I will do 30-40 min cardio and that’s the only workout I do that day. Just to get the blood flowing. Lastly. Relationship.
