Hiking through the the French alps earlier this month. Autumn was just starting to hit and the bushes began turning red. We crossed paths with this Ibex as we reached the top of the ridge. Everywhere you looked, the mountains were mindblowingly big 🐐🏔
We woke up at 5am each morning in Cappadocia to catch the famous sunrises filled with hundreds of balloons.
Even though it was really challenging to shoot, my favourite photos were of the balloons taking off while it was still basically dark. I managed to get 3 or 4 that I was happy with, and here’s one of them :)
Shot on the Canon 5Dmk4 with a 50mm f/1.4 sigma. 6400 ISO, 1/80sec.
Who’s ready for more hot air balloon pics? I have way too many so I’ll try and space them out a bit 😅
This morning was easily the best of our whole Turkey trip so far. I saw this horse across the valley and used a 400mm lens to capture this. This was such a quick and perfect moment- making this photo one of my favourites I’ve taken in a really long time.
I took more photos at sunrise today than I have this whole trip so far 😅
Each morning in Cappadocia has been filled with hundreds of balloons. It’s hard to capture how magical this place looks when you first see the balloons rising above the horizon. Thanks for having us this morning @mithracavehotel 🙏🏼
