Calm before the storm... Training is not just about turning up and sweating (That's exercise, and anyone can copy this on a youtube video)
To do real training, we need to plan every minute of every workout aimed to achieve short term goals. Then make sure each workout leads into the next one again and again until months or even years later...our long term goal is complete.
The fitness required to perform at a 4 hour long non stop concert will suprise many people. Aerobically and anaerobically challenging. Some studies indicate an average heart rate of between 150 to 170bpm for rock band lead singers... this is higher than a lot of people during a marathon event. At times the heart rate goes past 190bpm. We designed a high intensity circuit with 4 to 6 exercises that lasted the average length of bodyslam songs (approx. 4 mins) with an overall work to rest ratio of 2 to 1. We also emphasised controlled breathing during the rest periods for better vocal control with a high heart rate. We analysed movement patterns performed in past concerts and mimicked them throughout the workouts to keep things specific as possible i.e. box jumps to mimick jumping on speakers, fast lateral hurdles to mimick side 'jamming' movements to intense rock music as well as various obstacle courses to mimic bursts of intense runs / jumps across the stage.
I look forward to seeing P'toon work his magic in the Bodylsam concert this Saturday (9th Feb) and Sunday (10th Feb). For private booking with our trainers please contact line chat id: numnin1986 or call 0895350884 📸 @digitalbaseasia#bodyslam#fitness#ออกกำลังกาย#teambeast
In the time i have known P'Toon and Koi i have come to see their awesome generosity... many times with complete strangers. It seems nothing is too much for them when it comes to helping people. They lead by example... their daily activites regulary demonstrate pure selflessness. In a world that can be very materialistic...they generally care more about others than themselves. P'toon and Koi motivate me to follow their actions. Thank you for everything you have done for the citizens of Thailand. I believe you both have inspired people to be fit and healthy.
It is a real pleasure to help you with your fitness for this upcoming concert and for the marathons after that.
