started this past weekend off by visiting @growwhereyouare to get an idea of the options we have for the #collectiveimpactdinner menu and just vibe with them for a bit. this was one of the most beautiful moments I’ve ever had sharing space. @thinktableatl and I went home with all kinds of wonderful goodies. this will be our first time actually featuring a GROUP of trill people. their tribe includes @cherokeemoonmixology @thirdmoonbotanica @chicomecoatlien and @maitufoods. hyper local and sustainable! our dinner at @culturedsouth is on the 6th. ticket link is in my bio. #chopitupatl

{swipe} so we just realized it’s our 5 year anniversary this month!! time has flown! thanks @tchoupvintage for reminding us! so many local rad businesses got started at #threadcountatl. thank you @hellobosco for believing in us. that was our first time being a part of a market EVER. thanks to the best friends a gyal could have @vicalistar and @sham_paine for holding it down at almost every event ever > > > back then I had a simple dream to open a lil ole antique store, embroider and sew pillows and just sell vintage and handmade housewares. preferably weird stuff! but the reality is, my purpose, awareness of my gifts and heart for community grew too much to limit my dreams. two years later #chopitupatl was born. but #ArbitraryLiving still sells housewares at MANY other internet platforms and spots > > > catch me this weekend at @argosyeav market tho! 20% off of everything! thanks for all the tight collaborations. thanks for riding with me from project to project as we build our cross pollinating business model with @chopitupatl! 📷 @capturedbylight_

did we just have dialogue over brunch about food justice, culture, art and of course gentrification on gentrified property in the West End? nice for what?? @jillisblack you killed it as moderator of the panel. thanks to the artists, business owners, farmers and community for coming out and to @atlantabeltline for supporting this vision. a million thanks to @mirandakyle13. more deets on @chopitupatl. preserve black Atlanta. . . “when we speak of culture, we often focus on some obvious parts of what makes us who we are, such as our music, art, or literature. but culture is much more expansive than that. CULTURE is the way we Be, collectively. it is what we do everyday. it is not only the language we speak, it is how we speak it, and also, how we listen. it is how we share.” - Marcelo Garzo. #chopitupatl

“it doesn't matter if others cannot see your vision. It doesn't even matter if some won't support it. what matters is that you see it AND are willing to take the steps to achieve it. walk on in faith. the ancestors will not give you a vision without providing a way to achieve it. it’s all a matter of time.” James Weeks/Across The King's River

on this birthday, I’m thankful for my heart. my talent. the peace to breathe. solidarity. the loving folks around me. including, most importantly, my divine council. and I’m super grateful that my dad shot up the club and made a real one. props to @sugardoilies for making these skull tings that look like me and my vibe for #arbitraryliving.
