Comfort. Certainly a gift at times. But imagine if we just lived there ... the opportunities, experiences and people missed along the way would be too high a cost.
Perhaps it’s just me, but the best of what I’ve gained in life has come because somewhere along the way I chose to step outside my comfort zone. I am betting the same is for you.
Let’s remember that while beforehand there might be lots of questions, anxiety, and maybe even fear ... it just requires you decide to embrace the uncomfortable & see what is on the other side - and I bet more times than not, what is gained is far more valuable than the comfort you left behind.

These kiddos. My why. My reason.
You know how they tell you in planes to first put on your own oxygen mask and then help others? The same goes for motherhood. As mothers, it’s just natural to give and give and meet need after need after need. And then sometimes we lose ourselves in all of that and forget to take care of our own selves. I know I did. We love them so much they are our world, always. But I need to be the best version of myself for them.
So by taking care of me, I’m actually taking the best care of them too. A year ago I wouldn’t have even considered taking them on a two hour hike, by myself, with a backpack full of water bottles and food. I wouldn’t have made it. But it was SO fun, for them and for me.
They have always been my focus, but now they are my reason too. My reason for being the best version of myself, so I can be more present and there for them. And we are all happier for it.
We all have different Views.😊That’s what makes Us Special!! 💛

Today was one of those days. I showed up. I breathed. I tried a few different postures. But my body and mind were not willing today. And that's OK.

How to play:
Commit to getting on the yoga mat each day for 30 days. Practice at home or go out and take a class. Don't have a yoga mat? Get down on a rug, the floor, your bed, whatever you've got.
Don't have an hour to practice everyday? Or can't motivate enough? No problem! Just 5 mins will do. The important thing is you show up. You don't need to do a fancy full practice everyday. Just commit to getting on the mat and see where it takes you. Maybe you sit and breath for a few minutes. Maybe you do some gentle stretches. Maybe you rock out a vinyasa. Or maybe you just lay down in savasana and chill for 5.
STEP ONE - Get on your mat!

As much as I cringe at all the things I see that I don’t like about myself (hello cellulite, oh look at that double chin, WTF was I doing in that shot?!) I am taking those negative thoughts & turning them around to A. improve physically so I am happy with what I see, and B. Remind myself that being a model is not in my business plan & it’s not what I do best.
So there you have it, focus on what you do best & not how you look when you’re doing it! 🙌🙌 Physical insecurities aside I’m excited to share these videos when the official release is done because what I DO love is the message I have for you in them 💖

Every time a new year rolls around, I see all sorts of articles promising how you can make THIS year even better/more productive/easier/amazing than the last one…and this is ‘kind of’ one of them, with a slightly different slant (Ha!) 🤦🏻♀️😜
You see, last year I didn’t set any goals or intentions and it was exactly what my slightly burnt out soul needed. And then the year before that, I set some big, life-affirming goals which all came to fruition simply because I had lasered in on exactly what I wanted.⠀
The truth is, we put a lot of pressure on ourselves and the poor ol’ month of January to have our shit sorted as soon as the clock ticks over (hello overwhelm!), which is why I'm sharing my tried and tested tips and tools to intentionally ease your way into the year or soulfully plan and prep to your hearts content.⠀
