Ha! I had some people message me and ask about my pup after seeing her do my FITmas workout with me in my story this morning! This is Izzie, our 6yo Shorkie and she’s the best. We adopted her (and my mom has her brother) from someone giving the entire litter away when we lived in Miami. How lucky were we to add this peanut to our family?? 💜
I wrote this note when I was going though a super hard time. Control is something I constantly struggle with. I like to be in control and be able to manage all situations. But guess what, sometimes things happen completely OUT of your control!! Instead of dwelling on a bad situation, try changing your mindset about it. The mind is so powerful. Pivoting your thoughts about a situation can sometimes make all the difference 🧠✨ #wisewords#wellnesswednesday#cleansethesoul#workinprogress#progressnotperfect#changeyourmindset
Our Christmas Tree. It’s a #workinprogress ! It’s not perfect but I ❤️ it!! I have been wanting to make a burlap garland for 3 years now. 😮. I never seem to have enough time but this year, I’m doing great in the groove of the holiday hustle and bustle. I’m busier than ever and yet more relaxed, organized and accomplished than ever. Man, that is a good feeling! Come to think of it.... my word for the year was “balance”. I can’t believe we are here, on the 13th of December. The year has almost come to an end! What a time for reflection this is. So, I didn’t order enough burlap and that’s okay. I’m going to let that go because I’d rather make cookies, wrap gifts 🎁 and cuddle babies. That’s balance! I can always add on next year. I accomplished a goal! 😍🎁😍 I hope that you take the time to recognize your accomplishments, big & small this season. Reflect on all that has been good and what has challenged you to grow. It’s all worthy! Happy Holidays, friends!!
The secret of making something work in our lives is, first of all, the deep desire to make it work: then the faith and belief that it can work: then to hold that clear definite vision in our consciousness and see it working out step by step, without one thought of doubt or disbelief.
Spending the remainder of 2017 reflecting on this last year & setting new goals for 2018 and solidifying my vision for the next year. I was told to be open with my vision in order to show others where I’m going and who I want to be part of the journey with me. In the next year I’m looking to mentor at least 20 women who have a passion for building their own business, who believe in the power of working together as a collaborative TEAM to achieve each others highest goals, who love adventure & travel and the great outdoors and want to empower & inspire other women by living a life of Health & Happiness. If my actions inspire others to
