When choosing my #Top25 adventures, there was never a doubt in my mind that Huaraz needed to be on that list. In fact, if I had a top 5 list, it would be on that list too. Why? Because it was the most challenging, inspiring, heart-pumping, breath-taking hike of my life. 15/10 would do again 😍
The weather matched my mood today, unpredictable. I went for a hike to burn off my anger and clear my jumbled thoughts. We didn't even make it to the false summit got too rainy and windy.... It's ok I wasn't up for being blown off a mountain today lol
You are the books you read, the films you watch, the music you listen to, the people you meet, the dreams you have, the conversations you engage in. You are what you take from these. You are your failures and your magic. You are a collective of every experience you have had in your life. You are every single second of every single day. So drown yourself in existence. Let words run through your veins and let lightning fill your mind until there is nothing left to do but explode.
Another year around the sun came so quickly. I hope to always remember that I spent my 22nd birthday crushing my longest hike ever on a ridge line off the Napali coast with my favorite person. I found my self saying that was the best year yet and then reminded that the best hasn't even come yet.
renaming this to champagne falls asap 🍾 ~ another toast to the ridiculously amazing women who joined us in today’s crazy adventures! CHEERS 🥂
Silly boy, had you forgotten that curiosity killed the cat?
My heart is no lab rat
So when you put it in a cage
To study its chaos and caverns
It was bound to make an escape
Slipping through the bars like quicksilver
and dancing away from your cold embrace
Because I am water
And you are stone
And it is my softest edges that carve through bone
You are a beautiful, talented, brilliant, powerful musk ox. Happy Birthday.
Sunday morning rainy hike🌲💧☁

Second ever mountain summit! Walked though the boulder garden and up Little Si. Definitely a great way to end the 4 day weekend.
