Texas, it's time! We can finally kick Ted Cruz out of the Senate, and put Beto O'Rourke in! If you need help finding your polling place, let me know, and I'll send you some places to find it. We can do this, but not if we don't vote! @betoorourke

Prayer is not an excuse for inaction. We all need to act together, and when we do - it’s no longer overwhelming. Each step counts. Every single act of kindness matters. Dress up for change and help to restore and bring forward a colorful now and tomorrow ✨🔮✨ #changetheworldwithstyle #walkyourtalk

World war one, factories and women. The expanded presence of women in French factories combined with pronatalism in diverse ways, posed for women’s bodies and their unborn children a unreliable stress. #worldwarone #frenchwomen #womensrightsarehumanrights #womenrights #factories #needforpeace #nuclearban #military #conflict #johnnydust

Regrann from @larsvontiara - Sometimes it's easy to miss what's happening back home when you're living in China. I had no idea that the #womensmarch would happen today BUT just yesterday morning I was talking with @jalilbutron about women's health, contraceptive methods, and the female body in general. Even in 2018 I feel there is a lack of knowledge about how the female body works & bc of that we are often misunderstood. I'm glad women can come together to shine a spotlight on some of the issues that still affect us today. #womensrightsarehumanrights 🙌🏻 - #regrann

Was brought this bottle as a sample the other day at work. Dumped it out without tasting it. Look at this label. Tell me if I’m overreacting, but this kind of marketing, while maybe petty in the grand scheme of things, reflects an attitude—one that implies it’s okay to denigrate and objectify women to sell a beer—that I find poisonous, insufferable, and inexcusable. #womensrightsarehumanrights #beertography #craftbeer #womensrightsmatter

Hanging out with my Hillary bro all day! Ignore my stache for a few minutes and pay attention to my chest and the pink pin! John had these #Resistance pins made of the famous pink pussy hat from the women's march! They are individually crafted and made from historic art glass, dated to the year women won the right to vote, yes 1920! #WinWithWomen #WomensRightsAreHumanRights #WomensMarch

Reason #649042 I like my cat more than most people. Tonight I had the unfortunate pleasure of having a complete stranger accuse me of being immoral, shameful, lacking intelligence, immodest, irrational and lacking in common sense. Why? Because I said that a woman’s clothing,no matter how little she wears, is no excuse for assault. The poor man...life must be hard when you’re that stupid. #womensrightsarehumanrights #noexcuses #ihatepeople #checkyourself #mycatisawesome #thatguyisanidiot #rapeculture #lifeishardwhenyourethatstupid #fuckyouropinion #metoo #effyourbeautystandards #mybodymychoice #nastywoman #immodestwomen #haters #killthemwithkindness

Bottom right*: the finished Field Dames WI (Enfield) - @womensinstitute - banner for @digidrama's 100 Banners project. Celebrating 100 years since the Representation of the People Act, which granted the vote to property-owning women over thirty. This banner is heading to @careintuk's March4Women on 4th March. Top and middle left: metallic silver ribbon loops I made for the bottom of the banner. Bottom left: detail of blanket-stitch I did on the Field Dames lettering, and top right: detail of the reverse of the blanket-stitched lettering, because it turned out unexpectedly presentable! This was a group effort and a LOT of work (and the first time any of us had made a banner)! *Finished banner photo by Kate McGeevor. #100banners #womensinstitute #fielddames #fielddameswi #march4women #inspiringwomen #empoweringwomen #womenunite #deedsnotwords #votesforwomen #representationofthepeopleact #suffragecentenary #suffragebanner #suffragettebanner #suffragettecolours #genderequality #womensupportingwomen #womensrightsarehumanrights #equalrightsforwomen #awomansplaceisintheresistance #neverthelessshepersisted #intersectionalfeminism #inclusivefeminism #blanketstitch #protestbanner #bannermaking #disabilityrights #lgbtrights #useyourvote #sparklemalarkeyprotest

”If they don’t give you a seat at the table, bring a folding chair.” - Shirley Chisholm Shirley was the first black woman elected to the United States Congress and the first black candidate for a major party’s nomination for President of the United States. Her rebel spirit lives on even after her death. Her tombstone reads, “Unbought and Unbossed.” Let her words be a reminder that you don’t need to be invited to change the world. Just pull up a folding chair. Head over to UnlockHope.com to order now. As always, every purchase helps provide equal access to healthcare and education for women and refugees in Uganda.

"Here’s to strong women. May we know them. May we be them. May we raise them." ✊🏾✊🏿✊🏼 ~Unknown~ I really want to help other's help themselves and in turn, that helps me! Collaborating with anyone who has a story that they have overcome teaches me tolerance, compassion and how to be gentle. These gifts are priceless, but they are the hidden keys that allow us to evolve as humans. Stagnation is like a death for me. Unless it's intentional. Movement pushes things into an organic order and enables us to flow, enables me to flow. My image is simply a bridge, to connect me to my next collaboration. #womenwhoroar #womensrightsarehumanrights #womenwholovewomen #noh8 #loveistherevolution #liveoutloud #bevisible #thefutureisfemale #vdayorg #1billionrising #riseresitunite #nomoreabuse #nomorexenophobia #beyoubetrue #nomoreracism #nomorehomophobia #endmisogyny #endrapeculture 🚫 #nastywoman ♀️ #nastywomenunite #tom#tomboystyle #tomboylook #tomboyfashion #xodohtronu #androgynous #theinvisibletomboy #thatgirljames #genderfluid #tomboy #modelo

Sure, it’s #PresidentsDay, but it is also #DaisyBatesDay! Daisy Gatson Bates was president of the Arkansas NAACP and a pivotal activist in the fight to desegregate public schools. During segregation, Daisy brought black children to all-white public schools, putting pressure on the Little Rock school board to integrate. There were threats, violence, and multiple failed attempts to enter. But on September 25, President Eisenhower ordered integration of the school, and Bates, as well as nine black students, were escorted safely. We can thank her for her dedication to integration and for persisting when being told “NO.” Celebrate Daisy Gatson Bates with us!
