3 o'clockitis... the bane of a healthy lifestyle, particularly if you are trying to lose a bit of weight and/or cut body fat. Generally, we will go breakfast, morning tea, lunch then try not to eat until dinner. Then fail and go for something quick, easy and comforting... like chocolate bars, chips, cakes, biscuits etc.. poor call. High GI and/or poor nutrient options just don't do the job. Packed with sugar and/or highly processed it's going to satisfy you briefly then that's about it. There are plenty of better options eg; almonds, fruits, low sugar yoghurts (if protein bars/shakes or meal replacement drinks are your thing then thats fine) to name few, but the key is YOU HAVE TO BE ORGANISED. Being fit, healthy and well is a lifestyle and you have to take responsibility. It's not hard. But it. Have it at hand. Eat it. ... the key is ... I’m sitting to write (do you recall the old type writers !) And I’m wanting to share a key element Not to our fermentation or Jun creations But to what we are doing and achieving .. Last night we had another show talking about gut health. It’s the new but not new thing. And so it should be. It’s the key element that’s been missing for a while now. ... Now we go on about the gut. We all do because we know they’re words that people want to hear. We know people are using these words now and are hot on the tongue of everyone who wants to be in the know. ... Aside from my wading through the bullshit post this is acknowledging what outcomes are achieved. .. So everyone talks up about the microbiome and it’s impact and how to fix it. But there’s deeper keys that we need to be reminded of .. First is that in the early 2000 it was all about health. And getting onto the bandwagon for improving it. Along came the gut and we recognized the huge role of diet in how we maintain health. ... Since about 2010 although earlier for some. The talk has now streamed across to mental health and how again diet is showing us signs that it’s a key element in the maintenance of good mind health. Down to it being proven that children who suffer abuse and stressful beginnings go on to have depression not just because of the act but because of the gut and the impact it has had upon it. ... The key things I wanted to say First. If we are a part of this industry all spruking about the gut we need to be mindful that we are playing with really important stuff. Not just hey have one of my yummy biscuits stuff but capacity to change stuff so it needs to be accurate and on target. Second. Is that we all should be mindful of our own state. Not just in diet but in mental health and holding the capacity to be authentic in what we are creating using and offering. ... This is life altering stuff Big stuff Not just marketable playable in earning a dollar to create my lifestyle stuff But really fricken important stuff ... And if we want to play we need to be mindful of what it all means and the KEY that our products can hold for someone. ... Because we hold a key! ...
