When it’s 8 am on a Saturday and you’ve already watched the sun rise, showered, and made coffee + breakfast 🕺🏼I’ve been trying to shift my sleep schedule to a little earlier and after a week of dragging myself out of bed and FADING by 9 pm, I popped out of bed this morning 20 minutes before my 6 am alarm with so much energy. I do love mornings the best! This smoothie has been my fave lately, it’s been on repeat this week! ⠀ 1 Apple or pear⠀ 2 tablespoons of ground flax⠀ 1 tablespoon mct oil or coconut oil⠀ 1 scoop protein powder (I’ve been LOVING @alohamoment ⠀ A handful of spinach⠀ 1 tablespoon hemp seeds ⠀ 1 cup water⠀ Yesterday it seriously kept me full for 4+ hours! I ran today!! This marks the third time I've ran sprints in January and it feels good. I always thought "I HATE running. Running SUCKS." 😑 But what I actually hate is endurance running. I LOVE doing sprints! My knees take far less of a beating, my heart rate hits its max every time and I use my time at the gym more efficiently. On and off the treadmill in 20 mins! That's a win win win. 💪 Interval training aka #HIIT workouts burn fat more effectively than long sessions of steady state cardio, so my Virgo self is all about it! #efficiency #virgonature #gymselfie
