Up ⬆️ and at em 👊🏼 early today 🤗 for a @prettyintensebydanica total body 💪🏼🍑🏋🏽♀️ session that was 😓🤣🤩 and now to enjoy 😊 this amazing weather 🌸☀️💐 Happy Saturday 🎊
Yummy beef veggie pasta 😋😋. Now as always to make this fitfam approved you need to be careful with oil. I'll advise you grill or boil your meat first, so that you don't need so much oil to cook it, as used in the video. Do that, and you are good to go! This is definitely going into my waiting list for stuff to meal prep.

The data shows that it takes an average of 66 days to form a single habit until it it automatic. But that’s just the average...⠀
The amount of time it took people in the study to form a single (uncomplicated) habit until it was automatic ranged from 18-254 days.⠀
Did you catch that? TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY FOUR days!⠀
And it was for uncomplicated habits meaning not emotional or addictive. It applies to a habit like drinking a glass of water in the morning...⠀
Not how much time it takes to make healthy eating a habit or to stop overeating wine, sugar, or junk food. Those are more complicated habits b/c they are linked to hormones and emotional states.⠀
what am I saying?⠀
Be gentler with yourself & give yourself more time, space, & FOCUS to make these major lifestyle changes.⠀
That’s why I created Happy, Hot + Healed to focus on ONE THING AT A TIME, one week at a time, over 6 months with the option to repeat the whole program for free over & over again until you have made eating healthy, not overeating, & loving your body automatic.⠀
That’s also why badass women who are successful at damn near everything they do still struggle with overeating & sticking to healthy eating long term...⠀
Because culturally, nutrition, health, and fitness plans ask us to make A MILLION HABIT CHANGES AT ONCE, often in the first month, and when we can’t stick to them long term, we (& the program creators) think it’s US...⠀
Because we lack “discipline”...⠀
Um no. Have they met you?! You do NOT lack discipline... have they SEEN the badass business/projects/communities/life you have built??⠀
That shit took willpower, discipline, talent, and freaking MAGIC! 🦄🔮 All of which YOU HAVE IN ABUNDANCE.⠀
The data shows it’s not YOU, it’s not “discipline” needed... its FOCUS on ONE THING AT A TIME until it’s automatic.⠀
So here’s my suggestion:⠀
if you’re a badass who is successful in her life, business, or career but you are still struggling with this one area: overeating and your body image or health...⠀
Then I invite you to:⠀
1. Grab my free “Eat Like A Badass Checklist” (LINK IN BIO)⠀
2. Pick ONE THING to focus on improving this week.⠀
Tell me how it goes!
Go out and live your amazing life today ❤
Th first day is always the HARDEST and the EASIEST at the same time. Why?
Well, starting is hard. Making a decision to completely change your lifestyle is hard. Thinking about dropping the pounds is hard.
But the first day is easy because you're motivated. It's easy because you made the leap. And it's easy because you can see all the good for your future.
The thing to remember though is the motivation may come in waves. Some days you're going to want to give up and say FUCK THIS. And getting through those days is vital to you're success.
I'll be here for you on your bad days if you will be here for me with mine. ❤ -

I love how my fellow coach Emily explains what we do! She says "By now I think you guys have realized that I don't "sell" a diet. I teach proper nutrition, guide my clients in learning and implementing life long changes so that they can finally ditch the yo-yo diets, long hours at the gym with little to no change and that funk of just not feeling their best.
Chris is a perfect example of how changing those old habits helped him gain much more then the weight he lost." This is what he has to say: "I’ve always been active and in great shape since I was 17. Though after my daughter was born, having 2 jobs, and a busy schedule, I slowly began to lose my grip on health and I got to be my heaviest at 245! I developed unhealthy food addictions, like celebrating AND consoling myself with a Hershey bar and a beer. I would even hide M&M’s from my wife, stashing them in the glove compartment. I was tired, unmotivated, and sick almost every other month. I couldn’t keep up with my daughter, I was depressed, and was just not myself. I had tried everything, you name it... beachbody, body for life, hydroxycut, working out and eating right…everything, but I could not do all of that, work 2 jobs, spend time with my family, and handle all that life throws at me. It was simply too much to tackle all at once. It wasn’t until I began to solely focus on my nutrition, changing the way I thought about nutrition in the past, that I was able to make lasting healthy changes. Now I’m in the best shape of my life at 175 with 10-12 lbs of muscle mass and I feel amazing! I can keep up with my family and kids, and at the ripe age of 40, I outran a college freshman football player in a game of backyard football. I sleep so deep and I’m fully rested when I wake up at 6:00am. I’m happier than I’ve been in a long time, and I just feel SO good!" Well said Chris! 💪🤗👌 #wow#cha#changelife #change #changeisgood#changeyourmindset#chamgeyourhabits#wei#weightlossney #weightlosstransformation #weightloss #weightlosssuccess#support#success#healthyeating#healthyfood#healthylifestyle#healthychoices#healthyhabits
Ok sometimes you just need to eat, and eat, and eat a little more. Come on girls, you know we have all been there. You aren’t hungry necessarily but you are craving “something”. This popcorn is my go to for those moments! It’s only 43 calories a serving!!! That means lots of servings 😂. White cheddar is my favorite.
Health is a byproduct of action & fuel. Here is some inspiration to fuel your day!
I’ve been categorized as overweight since I was 12. I developed fast and by grade 8 was at full height and chest size, and in the body that I would battle against for years. I did my first diet at the age of 15. I completely deprived myself and it worked. I lost weight. So I went back to normal life. I’d gained weight again, so then I went on another diet. Tried DVDs, those electric ab things, every quick fix I could find. I finally found success with weight watchers at age 19. But I was newly married, single income, and while the program did help me - I just couldn’t swing it. Then I got pregnant with Maya. Then Jemma. Then Boden. And I, was 225lbs. Again I tried dieting, I ran for like a week once, I did a support system with my neighbor, always just kinda bouncing around seeking that magic solution. I’d become so used to the yo-yo and the failure that it most definitely seemed as though this is just what I was meant for. Until that day, until that picture was posted. That snap moment. That decision to go all out for once. My last shot effort. I was going to change my life, change my body. I was going to do it at home, no money required, and with three young kids watching.
We fail ourselves when we stop trying, when we give up. It’s that glimmer of hope at the end of the rope that says “one more time”. I never did find that quick fix. That magic answer. I wish I could bottle that feeling in that snap moment of decision, because that’s what it took. A decision. A last ditch effort (or what I felt like it was). I felt worth it. For once. To try. To free who I felt I was on the inside. To break away from the strongholds of food addiction. To stop self-shaming the fact that I didn’t know what I was doing. You figure it out. You do what you know how. You just do.
Be patient. It can be easy to see transformation photos and want that quick success. But there’s often years between, failures you didn’t witness, stumbles that aren’t highlighted, thoughts that aren’t spoken. Within yourself you can truly begin a new day with a fresh mindset and healthy conversation that stops seeking the quick and easy and commits to the lifelong end rewarding instead. #saygetfit
This was taken from my soulmate trainer's book. T is for Transformation by Shaun Thompson.
I love it because it is so true.
I may not look the part but my mind is 100% fit! It took me a long time to get there. But i did and you can too.
Just because we look different than the people.on our screens in our homes doesn't mean we can't do what they do.
And remember do what they do, but do it the way YOU can do it.
Now i must go and press play.
And if you want to be a part of my next group where fitness truly doesn't have to be a size but a mentality, double tap!
Daily dose of health inspiration!
Love a good weekend brunch and even better when it hits my macros!! Homemade bread from my aunty best house warming pressie delicious!! 😋😋😋

@fatgirlfedup "Last morning workout with @the_beautiful_pocahontas! Never in a million years did I expect 2017 to end the way it has. So proud of her for starting her own fitness class and kicking my butt this morning! Being on a weightloss journey is hard, but even harder when those closest to you don't support you. In the beginning I had alot of people close to me including family tell me losing weight wasn't possible and alot of my relationships changed. I knew I had to get negativity out of my life even if that meant leaving others being and being selfish while working on my health. It was all worth it though to put me first for once in my life. So happy that 2017 has brought me so many new opportunities & friendships. So thankful for this girl who's had my back consistently. I am honestly blessed and will spend these next few days of 2017 counting my blessings. Rise & grind!

Starting ur day with a glass of lemon water has SO many benefits. Not only is it loaded w vit C to boost ur immune system, but it cleanses ur liver, alkalizes ur body and helps u 💩 💩. Breakfast of champions, followed by oats & a protein shake (cyclone), before a good long Saturday workout. Hate it or love it, I enjoy whole foods way more than junk now. Although the thought of last night’s Chinese was great, I only ate 3/4 of it before I felt sick knowing what crap I’m putting in my body (you are what you eat). Its not just a diet, it’s a lifestyle change. I decided to look after my body from this year onwards and now my subconscious has finally caught up with my brain!
