We chilled out all day today. But if you trying to diet, get healthier & fitter then honestly chucking all of your week time structure out the window every weekend could 1๏ธโƒฃ affect progress 2๏ธโƒฃleave you feeling like your starting over again every Monday - โœ…Be smart keep some structure remember you are trying to create a state of "just living" better all the time not feeling like everything is a chore. If you don't want to have time away from the family to go to the gym etc then find something you can all do together. - โœ…Saturday & Sunday are not an all you can buffet, calories still matter. If you've been applying the 80/20 balance concept to your food intake then you shouldn't be feeling like you need "a treat "or "a reward" remember food is fuel to be enjoyed but it's not a reward system. I must be mad! But I'm going to try ADF (alternate day fasting) today, Tuesday and Thursday. I had a dominos last night (medium stuffed crust) and almost ate it all, Dr Pepper and some hot wings, all in between multiple chocolates from the heroes tub. It's amazing what you can achieve when you start eating carbs and doing hip thrusts ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘. . Defiantly wasn't gifted in the glute department๐Ÿ˜‚ but don't loose hope because it is possible to grow your ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ•บ๐Ÿผ โ–ช๏ธ2014: Eating less than 1200calories, Doing mostly cardio but when I did start training I never split up my lowerbody days which meant they were mainly quad focused. โ–ช๏ธ2017: After bulking for around 9months up until Aug this year when calories reached up to 2600 and now currently doing a cutting/maintenance phase calories between 1800-2000. Training legs x3 times per week split into glutes & hamstrings (Lots of hip thrust & glute activation banded work). . There's more to building glutes then doing squats everyday of the week๐Ÿ™Š๐Ÿ‘ . Whoa! A blast from the past! This is when I attended meetings. As you can see, my starting weight at that time was 260.4 lbs! Whoa! My weight record booklet is empty because I told the lady I lost it because I didnโ€™t want my weight being tracked and they gave me another booklet which I unfortunately donโ€™t have. ๐Ÿ˜– I didnโ€™t stick to the program. My excuses and love for food were far more bigger than my will to get healthy. ๐Ÿ˜ž *sigh* 2016, SmartPoints is what helped me lose weight and Iโ€™m sure PointsPlus wouldโ€™ve helped me too โ€” if I had stuck with it! Now the Freestyle Plan? It doesnโ€™t get any better or any easier than that! Seriously! This just oddly motivated me to finish the year strong and to track and stay within my points! My feelings now that this semester is officially OVER! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ I had someone recently tell me that they thought I would be more self conscious of my weight by the looks of it but upon getting to know me, she said I embraced it. I took it for what it was and lived my life anyways. That made me happy that she could tell all of that through my personality. Loving myself THROUGH this journey has been the biggest challenge but I have found body confidence in the high times. I learned that no one could hurt me & make fun of me if I take away the one thing that gives them leverage; my weight. So when possible, I crack jokes about myself to show others that it is not something that is going to hurt me.
