Kelli is this weeks team member! She has worked for our office for 20 years. She has been married to her husband Burton for 10 years and they have a daughter Maggie who is 8 years old. She has a Dog that is a Cavalier King Charles named Bonaparte. In her spare time she enjoys time with her family and friends at her houseboat at Fontana Lake. Kelli's dream vacation would be to Italy, because that is where her ancestors were from. #teamthursday#drgsmiles#haynow#waynesvillenc#dentist
It may be cold today, but spring is only a few months away! Anne’s Attic has new arrivals, including a big shipment of gorgeous outdoor furniture! The consignment shop is located right beside our main store on Dellwood Rd. #waynesvillenc
Newly engaged and don’t know where to start? Friend, I know it’s exhausting. I promise you’ll find endless blogs on where to begin this whole wedding-planning stuff, but I’m glad you found your way here.
Because first, I want to say Congratulations! You found the person your soul loves, and they love you back! How incredible is that!? That is worth celebrating.
But I also want to encourage you. This wedding you’re planning? It’s going to be awesome. Not just because of the decor, or location, or place - but because it’s ~yours~. Because the two of you are making promises. Because the two of you love each other. Heck, you can get married in a basement or your own backyard- and it is going to be awesome because it’s a day to celebrate YOU and the love you have.
My bit of ‘newly engaged’ advice? First, go on a hike. Or hit the new restaurant downtown. Find whatever you love to do together - and do it. Unwind before you tackle the big stuff, celebrate this new season. In fact, I think you should pause together often, even when it seems like there’s too much to be done. This person you’re marrying? They’re your life partner, a close companion. Remember to do the small, fun stuff even in this busy season. Remember to practice to love.
The rest of the stuff may not come easy- and really, it’s not supposed to. But as long as your priority is on caring for yourselves and each other, you’ll be just fine. ❤️
