IT'S ALL IN THE HIPS
Time to have some fun moving our bodies and this time, we're looking at the hips. What we're going to do is work on transferring between two positions, the butterfly and shin box, without letting our foot touch the ground.😲
This really challenges your body awareness, control, and overall strength within your end ranges of motion. Here's how to do it.
🔹️Start in butterfly and squeeze the adductors to lift the leg off the ground.
🔹️Keep the leg high and try to twist the hip into internal rotation and you go backwards.
🔹️Set the leg down into shin box.
🔹️Sqeeze the side of the hip to lift again.
🔹️Rotate the hip into external rotation as you come forwards.
🔹️Set the leg back down into butterfly.
🔹️Repeat or go to the opposite side.
Have some fun and try it out. Tag me in your posts and stories with #DrJHipChallenge and my name @dr.jacob.harden and I'll shout you guys out this week on my story. Let's see you move!🕺

No.4 of the drifting “unSUNs”
about the drifting “unSUNs”
Behind the perfect sun, there might be a bunch of suns born with flaws. Now the sun forgot to drift in Northern Europe, so I weaved and spread them drifting there. Hope the unSUNs can warm people up in unsunned days.
