The other good news is that I'm going to be on TV tomorrow night! The BBC got in contact with me on Monday to asked if I'd be interested in doing some filming with them today. So I spent the day working with a real fabulous team putting together a video for 'Timeline' on BBC 2 Scotland. In the video we look at some of the issues disabled people/wheelchair users like me face when trying to have a night out. It's important to address these issues as I all too well know the fight disabled people have to endure in order to live a somewhat normal life and being able to enjoy a simple night out shouldn't be stressful just because your disabled! I've got to say I really enjoyed the experience working with the BBC team not just filming the video but actually having a lot of input into writing the script. It was such a relaxed and stress-free experience unlike a previous experience with another major television company earlier this year (I'll discuss this at a later date)-trust me you'd be shocked! Anyway, as far as I know the video is due to air tomorrow night at 7:30pm on BBC 2 Scotland. I'll be on radio at that time so I'll miss it although I don't think I could dope actually watching it and seeing myself on tv haha! But as long as it gets the message across and highlights the issues that's the most important thing! Please if you can show your support and tune in tomorrow evening-perhaps even share this round? I'd really appreciate it! I'll let you know if anything changes regarding schedules etc but so far it's due to go ahead tomorrow! Wish me luck!!!
