"For the vision is yet for an appointed time…"📖
Many times, we feel that God is too slow in coming through with His Word and because of that we have let dreams and promises go. There are also things that God has placed in our heart we have given up, because of time or disappointments.
But God has an appointed time to fulfill the dreams and desires in your heart. Just because it has taken a long time or you’ve tried and failed doesn’t mean it’s not going to happen. Don’t give up on those dreams. Our God is a faithful God. No matter how long it’s been, no matter how impossible things look, if you’ll stay in faith, your set time is coming. Remember, every dream that’s in your heart, every promise that has taken root, God put it there. Not only that, He has every intention of bringing it to pass. At times it may look like God’s promise is delayed, but be assured that the blessing will occur at its appointed time. It will not tarry, so patiently wait for it. Please wait on God’s timing.
God has His own sense of timing: ‘With the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day’ (2 Peter 3:8, AMP). God's timing is always perfect. He's never early, never late, but always on time. Our timing isn't God's timing. For us, God's timing often feels like a long, desperate delay.
God's perfect timing does two things: It grows our faith as we are forced to wait and trust in God and it makes certain that He, and He alone, gets the glory and praise for pulling us through. "My times are in Your hands ..." Psalm 31:15. At the right time, God will provide your need. At the right time, God will deliver you. At the right time, God will rescue you.
At the RIGHT time. His time!
Thus says the Lord, who makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters. [[my notes:: he makes a way when there is no way]] who brings forth chariot and horse, army and mighty warrior. They lie down together, they cannot rise; they are extinguished, they are quenched like a lamp wick. Do not remember the former things; neither consider the things of old. [[my notes:: let go of the past]] Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it Springs forth; [[my notes :: it happens fast]] do you not perceive it and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the dessert. Isaiah 43:16-19 #ABB#godissovereign#trustthelord
“Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you…I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand…”📖
Wherever you are, whenever you are, God is present. Isaiah 41:10 says “Fear not, for I am with you” so when you're facing a situation that seems impossible, remember that God is always with you. He is holding you in the palm of His hand. There is nothing too difficult for Him; nothing is impossible, nothing is beyond His ability. When God holds you in His hand, you are safe. You are cared for. In His hand, there is victory. In His hand, there is strength. -
No matter what you may be going through , you can trust that God is for you. Instead of getting down and depressed over your circumstances, look up and get a vision of God turning that situation around. Let faith arise in your heart and focus on His favor, promotion and blessing. See yourself in the palm of His hand, and see the victory and blessing He has prepared for you.
Don't let lies from the enemy or pressure from the world keep you from taking hold of everything the Lord has for you. Open your heart by faith and receive whatever it is that you need today. Just begin to thank Him for His help and provision in your life and move forward in confidence and strength knowing that the Lord is with you.
One who has unreliable friends soon comes to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
Because your destiny is too big to accomplish on your own, it’s important to be connected to the right people. God has already arranged for certain people to speak faith into you. He has already placed people in your path that will inspire you, challenge you, and help you accomplish your dreams. The reason some people never reach their highest potential is because they never get away from the wrong people.
Not everyone can go where God is taking you. That's why you’ve got to connect with people who understand your destiny and can call forth your seeds of greatness. Don’t spend time with people who are always pushing you down, telling you what you can’t do, or never giving you their approval no matter how hard you try.
Don’t hang out with those who will drag you into bad situations. You may not be someone who is prone to mischief, but hanging out with people who are troublemakers will put you in situations that you may regret.
Make sure you hang out with people who are pulling your life in the right direction. Good friends won’t lead you into bad situations that will compromise your safety or your integrity.
Bottom line—friendships matter. Who you hook up with on this journey through life can make or break you. It can make the difference between you having a great, fulfilling, successful life, or having a life that is filled with trouble and regret.
Life is too short to drag people along. If you will get the wrong people out of your life, then God will bring in the right people so you can fulfill the destiny He has in store for you.
1 Thessalonians 5:11
“Therefore encourage one another and build each other up...” 📖
Be a people builder
God designed us to live in relationship with others. He wants us to help each other grow. None of us will reach our highest potential by ourselves. We need people in our lives to encourage us, and we need to encourage the people in our lives and help them reach their potential. The word “encourage” means to “urge forward.” Many times, you can see things in other people that they don’t see themselves. You can see their strengths and talents. You can see that God has a special plan for them even though they may be going through a difficult time. Don’t assume that people see what you see in them.
Take a moment and encourage them either with a kind word or a simple note. There might be a special gift you can give that will remind them of their goal or dream. In whatever way you can, urge the people in your life to keep moving forward. If you’ll be a people builder and help others fulfill their dreams, God will help you fulfill your dreams also, and you’ll live in blessing all the days of your life.
“..you have not passed this way before."📖
God desires to take you to new places in your life. He wants to take you to deeper places in your walk with Him, and He wants to take you into higher places of blessing in your life.
But in order for you to reach your full potential, you have to be willing to step out into the unknown. You won’t ever walk on water until you step out of the boat. We all have areas where we can rise higher. Open your heart today and be ready to step out into the unknown. Trust that the Lord will guide and order your every step. Begin to expect that the unexpected is on the way. Be ready to step out into new places.
When God leads He does it in an interesting way. Instead of laying out the entire path before us clearly, He lays out one stepping stone at a time. Once we have made the step to that place, He lays out another, and so on. Continually challenging us to walk by faith, not by sight. Keep your eye on Jesus, let Him lead the way to a place you have never passed through before. That can be a scary place — but take heart in Who you are following. Stay focused on the One who is leading, not the journey itself or the distractions along the way.
And lastly, be mindful that as He goes before you; He is wholly-devoted to you. He has extended His love, His grace and His mercy — even His own Son — that you might walk clothed in His righteousness in a relationship with Him. He chose you. He saved you. He goes before you. The path that He is leading you on right now — whatever it is — God can accomplish whatever needs to be accomplished. He can do it without us. But we cannot do it without Him! Stop, right now — acknowledge Him.You have not passed this way before. But by His grace, He is going before you. And He will lead you through.
The lord is by your side through the good, bad, beautiful and ugly times. He will never leave! You’re never alone and for someone like me (with BPD) this means so much! I struggled with neglect, mood swings but through the Lord and his word, I’ve honestly gotten better. I know that he is the one I can truly trust. I trust him with my whole heart. He knows me better than I know myself. #trustthelord#bibleverse#christianity
God is so beautiful...❤ -
God's heart is the most beautiful heart we can imagine. His character is so beautiful.
The angels themselves are incredibly powerful and majestic, shining with His glory. People sometimes get fascinated by angels and other spiritual phenomena. But there is a reason why true and faithful angels stand in awe before God. They see His beauty.
It's not only an external beauty. Anyone can put up a show to impress others. Special effects and spectacular lights can give the illusion of beauty. But the beauty of God, and also Jesus Christ, is not only His visual appearance. It is His being. Who He is. His mind is so beautiful... so infinitely beautiful with a depth of wisdom and insight that stuns us.
However it's not even His wisdom and knowledge that makes God's mind so wonderful. It's the deep goodness of His heart, that makes all His thoughts so precious.
When God thinks, it's full of goodness, grace, mercy, faithfulness and kindness. The thoughts of God are full of life and love. Completely pure and righteous.
Think about this... everything God thinks is full of healing, hope and comfort. That is what makes Him so beautiful. Who He is. His thoughts, His character, His actions...
Knowing God as He truly is, is by far the most wonderful thing there is.
I don't love God because I have to from some religion. I could maybe serve God out of fear of judgment, but that would not ignite this flame of love in my heart. I love God because I have seen His beauty and it has captured my heart forever. -
I pray that His Spirit will reveal God's beauty to you. It's truly the most wonderful thing there is.
And I believe this is the ultimate reason why man was created: to know the beauty of God and rejoice in Him forever.
May His love overflow you, now and forever.
Psalm 37 is speaking to my heart so much today! It’s very hard for me to sit still. Call it what you want but the wheels in my head are always turning which makes it difficult for me to sit for a long period of time without thinking of something I could or should be doing. “Silence” to me growing up meant it was the calm before an awful storm that was about to create chaos. Some of these events have caused me to try to control my every situation. Waiting patiently was never an option for me. While coming to Jesus has healed a lot of these areas making major improvements, sometimes I still struggle to be patient but knowing that Jesus is patient with me helps me give myself grace for the learning process. #truth#RealLife#JESUS#patience#waiting#bestill#Bible#Scripture#Learning#Peace#NewLife#Psalms#Psalm37#desires#trustTheLord
For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’"📖
God's Word tells us that without vision, people may perish. If you don’t have a dream or vision for your life, then you’re not really going to reach your fullest potential. Maybe at one time you had a dream, but you went through some disappointments or setbacks. Things didn’t turn out the way you planned
But here’s a key: when one dream dies, dream another dream. Just because it didn’t work out the way you had it planned doesn’t mean that God doesn’t have another plan. You cannot allow one disappointment or even a series of disappointments to convince you that your dream is over. It’s time to dig your heels in and hold on to the promises in your heart. Stir up those God-given dreams today and watch Him pour out His favor and blessing upon you and fulfill every desire in your heart. -
When we are feeling hopeless, we see our circumstances and surroundings through a filtered lens that can cause us to continue to spiral downwards in our emotions and our attitudes. In Jeremiah 29:11, God says that He has a plan for you, a plan that will prosper you and not to harm you, a plan that will give you hope and a future.
While your circumstances may cry out hopelessness, God is saying that He has a plan to prosper and not to harm you. While we don't know what the future does hold, we know He holds the future. We can trust in the goodness of God to care for us in the midst of situations that seem hopeless.
Our hope is not in our circumstances, but in God our Father. That does not necessarily mean that life will always turn out the way we expected, but it does mean that we can always trust in our Father to love us and watch over us. If we commit our lives into His care, we are guaranteed from an everlasting perspective, that we will have an incredible future filled with hope awaiting us, that will last forever.
