The speed and level of your results all boil down to how robotic you can be. A lot of you wonโ€™t want to hear this as most people are looking for the quick fix. The easy way to do it. The magic pill. There isnโ€™t one. You have to decide how extreme you want your results to be, compared to what kind of lifestyle you are prepared to live as a permanent lifestyle change (not a temporary phase). If you want to get in inane shape very quickly, it can be done, with hard work and consistent progressive training and a well planned nutrition plan. Youโ€™ll also have to make sacrifices and be very robotic. Seeing food as fuel and nothing else and getting the workouts in every day even when tired or not motivated. And never deviating from the plan. If you want ok results then youโ€™ll have to make a very lame scaled down version of the above. Most people are somewhere in the middle. They want to look good but canโ€™t or wonโ€™t give up their vices. So they make some changes for a short space of time and fluctuate between being compliant to the plan and not. The difference to ok results, good results or amazing results all boils down to how robotic the individual is. So ask yourself, how bad do you want it? And how much are you prepared to change permanently to maintain your results. Anyone can look like a cover model. Iโ€™ve come a very long way since 2015. More life changes have happened to me than I ever would have imagined or possibly wanted. - For me, the gym began as a place to transform myself and then it soon turned into a place to escape and get away from all of the stress revolving my personal life. Progression photo... I put on quite a bit of body fat whilst injured for 5-6 weeks last year, so have been cutting to get back to where I should be _________________________ I'm really happy with this for 2 reasons: 1: I've gotten a lot stronger since December 2: I weigh 93kg/205lbs in both photos, so have replaced anything lost with muscle. I would like to get down to about 91kg whilst still getting stronger over the next few months. Itโ€™s easy to get caught up in the small things day to day . For the past week, Iโ€™ve been struggling hard. I have been beating myself up over little stuff like food decisions and feeling lazy. But the truth is, my reaction has gotten me no where. . I must continue to remind myself at how far Iโ€™ve actually come๐Ÿ‘†๐Ÿผ mentally and physically Iโ€™m a whole different person now and thatโ€™s something to be proud of! A primary reason for my previous success was consistency over timeโฑ so Iโ€™m making my biggest focus right now: . PROGRESS over PERFECTION . I plan to go 70-90% each day rather than 100% one day and 10% the next. Itโ€™s a difficult adjustment as an OCD perfectionist, but Iโ€™m willing to put in the time.
