*Deep breath* Here's a transformation photo I have been thinking about posting for awhile. That girl on the left? If I saw her today, I probably wouldn't recognize myself, but I remember how I felt. I never thought I was overweight or unfit, because I was running regularly. I was happy, I was busy, life was good. I still love that dress, and I remember feeling fantastic in it. I see myself now and I still don't recognize myself somedays, because even though I'm fitter, healthier, and happy, I don't feel like the woman I see in the mirror. Transforming myself and my mindset through exercise, healthy eating, BBG, and now yoga has changed me both inside and out, and I love the person I am on the inside, and I'm learning to love the woman I am on the outside too. The look of somebody who has just done legday and is not impressed with the complete inability to know walk without saying oooh after every bloody step. Today's workout Squats 10 x 80kg for 3 sets 8 x 100kg for 2 sets 3 x 115kg for 2 sets Superset of leg extension 60kg x 5 leg curl 45kg x5 and standing calf press 120kg x10 5 sets. Incline leg press 160kg 8 reps x3 And for shits and giggles 50 body weight squats. Result = ouch. A few weeks ago I tried to squat 100kg and could not even lift the bar never mind squat the damn thing. Now with a bit of work and some determination I am now doing the above.
