A lot of players are visual learnings so it is important for you to know how to demonstrate movements for your students/players. This also ensures you are staying up to date and familiar with the exercises and drills you are having your team or athletes do. Lastly, if you preach being strong, in-shape, and healthy to your athletes then lead by example! Second, Chris and I are both school counselors and we understand how important health is, but also making sure we do the things that help us not burn out from our busy work/life schedule. It is important for us to lead by example by demonstrating ways to stay healthy, motivated, and successful. In 2003 after my lacrosse career came to an end, I decided to pursued work in the modeling industry. I worked with so many interesting people and was able to get a good amount of print work. It was a fun time, but to be honest i have never felt so unhealthy in my life. At 6 2” I went under 180 lbs, feeling very week and thin. The Medx Avenger prone leg curl was made in very limited production. In my opinion it’s the most effective prone leg curl ever made. It’s a plate loaded linkage design made with an aggressive strength curve. The tension eases off at the top of the movement so you can get the best contraction possible. This machine forces you to maintain control of every inch of the movement. A prone Leg curl is a contraction movement... meaning the most tension is placed at the top or end of the movement in the contacted position so... ⚓️Hold and squeeze at the top for 1-2 seconds. Avoid throwing the weight up and maintain control. ⚓️fight the negative and go slower on the way down ⭐️if you want to bring in some glute work , try this finishing technique .... aka pancake ass attackers🔥 ⭐️Squeeze heals together hard while flaring out your toes & lifting your quads off the pad. ⭐️flex your glutes, hamstrings and adductors without allowing your lower back to come into play. ⭐️hold for the amount of reps you have just completed . For example i completed 7 reps to positive failure, so on the last competed rep instead of going back down I hold up for seven seconds. Fam we made it to the weekend . . . . . I don't always have a positive attitude. I don't always smile. I don't always do things willingly when asked of me. I don't always have patience. I don't always like myself. I have my down days just like everyone else. I have times when I just don't feel like interacting with anyone and I just need to be alone. The important thing is that I let myself feel my emotions strongly in the moment, and then, when I feel like I can breathe again, I move on and start afresh. Emotions need to be felt and not bottled in because sooner or later, you will explode from keeping everything inside without a healthy outlet. As long as you do not let yourself become so overcome by your emotions that you fall into an endless rut, by all means, feel anger, feel sadness, feel frustration, etc. But once felt and once unleashed, allow yourself to feel love, mercy, happiness, and peace. Create an atmosphere of balance and strive toward an environment built on compromise. Love yourself, love those around you, and no matter how negative of an emotion you may feel inside, do not keep it all in but rather let it out so you can move on with your life.
