I got my words tumbled up but the idea is there. Grind with the elbows pressed against your body.
. Hunting knife, Bowie or a piece of board can all be ground smoothly with proper control. #olympics
This is the 2nd time I’ve had to address this issue. I’m sure it won’t be the last. @queencleaningconcepts is the only cleaning company I own or have anything to do with. What bothers me the most is no one knows how hard I really work to build this brand and company from the ground up and keep it going day to day. The hours that you don’t see on social media. It’s literally blood, sweat, tears, no sleep, hustle and pure grind. The fact that someone could try to sabotage that, rubs me in the most uncomfortable way. Honestly your just fueling my fire more because I know I’m great! But You know what they say, if you ain’t got no haters you ain’t poppin’ 🤷🏽♀️ ... but like who really has time like this!? #THEORGINAL#QUEENOFCLEAN
...Field grade Saddle horn folding Bowie....a traditional slip joint folding knife for the Arkansas knife show tomorrow.
This folder will go to the person drawn from the VIP tickets that attends the show.
I make very few folding knives normally but enjoyed making this one. I make both this Bowie style and a skinning blade. This field grade folder only weighs 1.5 ounces. I may try to make a few later this year. I also wanted to get a feel for how many folks night be interested. #folders#honey
...A little better photo of the Bowie I am taking to the Arkansas show as a delivery. He has been waiting a few years on this one. .
See y'all in Little Rock Friday for the cutting and Saturday for the show.
The first part of straightening a forged blade.
. PART DUEX will be shown tomorrow. This is a part of my "tools of the trade" videos. .
It is important to do the right steps in sequence. #westminster#nilgai

...A true stag party in one package....The camp Bowie right before I started engraving the ferrule and pommel cap. .
It has a 9 inch blade. Sambar stag handle. I have been engraving on the ferrule for two days I should finish it tomorrow I think. This one is an NLT marked piece. .
Right before he went on duty..Custer said to me.." if I had that camp Bowie, I could handle anything..." I was late getting it shipped out...the rest is history my friends.
...da butt. I finally finished the butt that goes with the guard posted two days ago. I will be working on the ferrule for a few more days. .
Deep relief scroll work with a bit of 24kt gold. .I would answer this butt call. How about you?
Tomorrow I will post up what the whole knife looked like when I slid it together for a photo. I had not started engraving the ferrule at that time. #icestorm#snowedin
...Two of the tools I use and then using them a bit. .
When forging under the hammer....the bar goes against the left leg...the hand with the cap tongs goes against the right leg that is on the pedal. ...This way I am steady and not just going flop flop...you know..the way...never mind. ...When using the hand hammer the right elbow goes against your side...this prevents getting tennis elbow and other afflictions/strains. You need to be athletic to a degree to stand up to the daily strain of Knifemaking.
Tomorrow I will be posting my engraved butt..that goes with the guard from a few days ago. I have been working on both of them for some time now.
REMEMBER..PEOPLE..not all of us can athletes but we can all be athletic supporters. Baddaboom. #withatonginmyheart.
. Bowie knife guard for Arkansas show. I will be the rest of the time before the show engraving the ferrule and pommel cap. It looks to be a good show up there folks. .
By the way..this knife was a molygobber piece of carver tine stag. I will try to photo it. .#cabininthewoods#arknife.com
...I made this one 30 years ago. I actually made two. The other was walnut handle and I carried it in my back pocket whenever anyone pulled up to the door of my old shop that I did not know. I have no idea who bought this one years ago.
