#11 of 30: This was after the first night of the 2nd backpacking trip I had been on - Copper Lake, Alpine Lakes Wilderness (2010) with Chris Cowles - one of the coolest people I know.
What I find most exciting about photography in the wilderness is this - when "it" happens, it doesn't matter where you point the camera, everything looks mind blowing.

I remember I waded in waste deep water, then climbed on top of a rock in order to get this shot. You do what you gotta do to find a new perspective 😁luckily it wasn't a long walk back to the car 😆

I miss this dreamy ocean sunset. I haven't taken many photos recently but I am looking forward to future opportunities. Sometimes our day to day life's distract us or keep is from hobbies. I hope that my hiatus from hiking and photo adventures will bring new and fresh perspectives to my view through the lens 😊
