Thank you to everyone who came out to our 4th annual great Seattle seed swap today! There were a ton of seeds shared, and we’re so honored to be a part of so many Seattle gardens. If you want a hand garden planning, seed starting, or adding chickens, check out our class schedule. We’re also excited to be offering yoga for gardeners and a special gardening with kids class during spring break. Happy gardening, and we’ll see you in class! [Thank you to Karl @crown_bees for the photos!]
I’m feeling refueled and ready to tackle on the week thanks to the message @juliamichellegreen and I heard from our friend @ben_courson at Applegate church! It was a message about HOPE and remembering that our faith must be based on relationship and not religion. Thank you King Jesus for everything that you are. I would not be who I am today without your wisdom, guidance, and influence over my life. I truly see my God as my best friend and I can’t imagine it any other way! P.S...we were diggin’ his Magnolia inspired loft! Absolutely gorgeous! #maximumsend#sendit#fullsend#sendy
Boat Rock at sunset - Our first time bouldering here was a beautiful one.
Today @hayliewhitaker sent me photos of a delicious bread she made (she’s so very talented), and it made me miss her and beautiful Skagway and our mornings spent brunching and chatting and giggling the day away.
Lucky for me, I won’t have to miss her for long! I’ll be reunited with that lovely gal in one month. And I have photos like these to tide me over until I’m back in Skagway again and drooling over it’s beauty.
Here’s a throwback to the summer of 2017 when I made all my friends wake up super early and hike in freezing cold water with me! The hike starts out in only an inch or so of water, then you climb over a massive log pile and surprise, you’re in knee deep! It gradually gets deeper and I think the highest point was up to my chest (I’m 5’7”). At the end is a waterfall surrounded by a fairly deep pool that you can jump into from the rocks. I laugh when I see people start out the hike in sneakers and jeans, you will need a swimsuit or clothes you can swim in! And bring a dry bag and prepare to carry it over your head. This hike is extremely crowded and popular, so early mornings on weekdays work best. Unfortunately I am not sure about the status of Oneonta after the fires, so let’s hope it is open for this summer 🤞🏻
Rainy days are good for chasing waterfalls! ...but on this rainy day I went to the climbing gym, had lunch with a friend, and did laundry! It was still a good rainy day! 😜
