ROASTED ASPARAGUS WITH GREEN ONION DRESSING
2 pounds fresh asparagus
2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
Green Onion Dressing
8-10 (1 bundle) scallions, greens only
4 cloves garlic
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
3 tablespoons raw honey
3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cut off the edges of the asparagus, then place them on the baking sheet. Coat the asparagus with the olive oil, minced garlic, salt and pepper and cook for 30 minutes, until beginning to brown but still crunchy.
3. To make the green onion aioli, combine all of the ingredients except for the olive oil in a food processor and blend until smooth. While the food processor is running, slowly add the olive oil until a thick sauce is formed. Drizzle the dressing over the roasted asparagus and serve.

Thalassaemia International Conference 2017 🇲🇨 🇬🇷
Thalassemia is a genetic blood disorder that makes the people with it cannot produce red blood cells and need to have some regular treatments such as blood transfusions and iron chelation therapy
I am proud to declare that I am also one of the thalassemia survivor who has been survived since I was 1 year old until now 😊
I have blood transfusions every month and drink iron chelation therapy medicine everyday without getting tired with it
I always afraid to tell other people about this so I'd rather to hide it and just tell the one that knows me very much, but this time I don't want to hide it anymore 🙂
Thalassemia brings me to Greece, I joined TIF conference as the delegation of thalassemia patients and also a poster presenter about the research that I conduct for my undergraduate thesis
These are my thalassemia friends that I met in the conference. Now I know that I'm not alone, I have many friends with the same condition with me and I'm glad to know them all! ❤
A mother and her teenage daughter jumped off a running train after some men tried to rape the 15-year-old girl aboard Howrah-Jodhpur Express late on Sunday night. The two were travelling from Kolkata to Delhi.
The train was on its way to Kanpur railway station when a group of men suddenly made an attempt to drag the minor girl into the toilet.
The mother-daughter duo were forced to jump, suffering serious injuries; they were unconscious for close two hours. They somehow managed to reach the Chandari railway station; it’s where people called an ambulance and took them to the Lala Lajpat Rai hospital.
The woman told the police that the group of nearly 10-15 men started taunting and teasing her daughter soon after the train left Howrah.
They also tried to grope the girl following which the mother rushed to the Railway Protection Force (RPF) constables escorting the train when it stopped at two stations. She claimed she complained twice about the constant harassment, first when the train was near Allahabad, and again at Allahabad. “The constables accompanied me to the compartment and nabbed three of them. They even slapped them and took them away,” she told HT at the hospital
