Legging it!! Number 9 of the Sacred Nude series! I will be adding more folds and the #floweroflife to the background tmrw. If only we could be more mindless and egoless, no head to over analyse transitory things 💕just legging it
You will notice this is not the first of its kind up here. Almost precisely a year ago I uploaded another of a similar nature, saying that I will eventually do it again. Here we go, I finally got around to it. Most of them work best in black and white, and some look like they were taken on film... I feel uneasy about calling it #pictorialist though, #impressionist or #stylised at most. What draws me to these is that I often keep feeling that there is some-thing I can just barely make out, but can't really tell whether it is there at all. Do you see anything interesting?

Bizarre, vous avez dit bizarre ?

Edwin Dickinson wrote “Stranded Brig” ... was entirely made up, invented…. “And having been an observer of rocks and an enjoyer of cliffs and waterfalls for a good many years, I painted them.... There are some rocks in the air… Where are they coming from? Heavens knows!… This was a ship in the Arctic somewhere, evidently an abandon one… It’s a two-masted, square-rig vessel, a Brig. I suppose it’s the east coast of Greenland. There is evidently a ship from a former stranding. These stairways of course couldn’t be… You can see this one and that have fallen to pieces, and it made a pleasant idea. I enjoyed it very much. There’s a weasel in a trap down there. That’s the only living thing… The sky is lilac, and the forms in the sky are vapor, caused by the air being much cooler than the water, and the water gives off a steam. You see it in Provincetown in winter a great deal. They are called vapor days….It rises in wreaths, you know, and moves as a flame does.”
