The Dip+Supported Leg Raise and Chin+Hang Leg Raise Superset Challenge. Awesome combo for: ✅Upper body pushing and pulling strength and endurance. ✅Shoulder stability. ✅Core strength. ✅A massive pump. ✅Great looking chest, shoulders, lats and abs. 👉The plan was to do 5 sets of 10 reps back to back with a minute in between supersets. 👉I got through 2 sets of 10 and 3 sets of 7,5,5 respectably. To be fair(fair excuse), I haven’t done dips in over 3 months due to a nagging wrist that finally healed fully and haven’t played with true supersets in a while either. 👉So now the challenge is to conquer 5 sets of 10 straight reps with a minute of rest in between, then move to do the same without the rest and see how long it takes me. Play good. • Whether you’re trying to improve performance, get your shoulders feeling healthier, improve posture, or get your upper back looking lean and jacked these are for you. • Set the cable to be just a few inches above your head. Think about pulling your thumbs right past your eyes, with high elbows. • As you reach out in front, allow the handles to come together. Beginning to incorporate some ELDOA work with our athletes. ELDOAS are simply postural exercises that aim to improve overall functional joint mechanics. I was able to get some experience with them when I was a GA at Utah State with @coachscholz @coachalanbishop @rubinoanthony and @joeybergles. It’s been awhile so I’m having our MBB developmental group be the guinea pigs as we begin bringing them more into the fold. Always asking for feedback on how the athlete feels before and after. Benefits include myofascial lengthening, reduces joint inflammation, an increase in flexibility, posture, awareness and recovery time. Pictures from top to bottom. Day 3 of 30: Leg day. I. Can’t. Walk. . This was the first true leg day I have done for as long as I can remember. That look on my face is pure exhaustion after finishing my last set. Always keep pushing yourself, even through the pain/struggle and the results will follow. Make sure you have correct form, otherwise that pain could end up being an injury. . Other than needing a walker for the rest of the day it’s going well so far.
