Everybody has a right-hand; here's mine ☝️💙 Today's photoshoot was unbelievable... we rented a real life #cheetah ... who wants to see pics? 👇😻
Alarms didn’t go off this morning, we were late to school and I ran behind all day long - but I refused to let it “get me”.
Jesus was never in a hurry.
I could have cancelled that coffee date with my girlfriend. But instead, I allowed myself to linger and we sat there and dreamed about serving women in new and different ways all the way until lunch.
I could have said no to a lunch date with my husband. But instead, I said yes to what was important. And I lingered.
I could have skipped my workout to catch up on my to-do’s. But instead, I cranked it out anyways - knowing it’s what I needed most.
I could have rushed my son to finish his project tonight. But instead, we are enjoying the process together.
The messages. The to-do list. The perfectly productive day can wait. Give yourself permission to linger in the moments that matter most — otherwise, they will pass you by.
His plans are always exceedingly, abundantly more than all we can ask or imagine, right? (Ephesians 3:20-21).
\\ “You made a way. When our backs were against the wall, and it looked as if it was over. You made a way. And we’re standing here, only because You made a way.” - Made a Way by Travis Greene
Even when it seems like there’s no way out, there is. It may not be visible, but it’s there. Right around the corner, waiting on you. To have faith. To take that step. Step into the unknown.
How will you know what’s waiting on the other side, if you don’t take a chance?
Trust. Trust is a funny thing. It’s so hard to do, and yet so easy. Giving in, surrendering all, is something that is so hard for us as humans to do. .
It’s in our nature to hold back, only rely on ourselves. As children, yes we are more trusting. But still, children resist authority. They don’t want to submit. They want their own way.
And as we grow our non-trusting attitudes increase. Everything life puts us through and the things that are done to us shape us even more into that distrusting person. Walls are built up. We try and protect ourselves from what tries to hurt us.
When we let go, surrender. Let God have it all, then a freedom like we’ve never experienced before will come. When you let go and let God, then you don’t have to worry anymore. You can know that He has you right in the palm of His hands. He cares for you. He loves you more than you could ever know. He will take care of you. He will provide. .
Again and again i have seen Him move. When it looked as if i wouldn’t make it, He showed up. Trust Him. He will not let you down.

🌹 NEW BLOG POST 🌹
Psalm 37v5 - 'Depend on the Lord. Trust in him and he will help you.' In a world where trust is often placed on things that inevitably keep changing, where we are never fully certain or assured of the trust we give or if it is reciprocated ... be at peace knowing that your trust in God is placed in the one who never changes.
God won't change. Therefore neither will his love for you, his protection, his peace or his grace. His position never changes. He is the same today, tomorrow and forever. It may not be 'cool' to remain the same in today's world but I am beyond thankful that God is who he says he is and thay the world can never change that.
God is with you. He longs to help you. Pray to him, walk with him, let him lead you, rest in him, cry, shout, scream, laugh. Just don't leave him. Trust in him and he will help you.

If you’re in some sort of pain right now - emotional or physical - keep this in mind. The past year has been one of physical healing and I feel like I’m just on the edge of the emotional and relational healing that needs to happen as I’ve moved closer to wholeness. Acknowledging and allowing ourselves to feel pain rather than suppress or dismiss it is HARD work 😔 It’s uncomfortable. It’s messy. It’s usually full of tough conversations and tears. But if we can persist through the pain and recognize that the only way out is through, we’ll be stronger and better for it. For anyone dealing with invisible pain of any kind, acknowledge it, listen to what it is trying to teach you and be open to receiving its gifts 💕
Would you dare, would you dare to believe
That you still got a reason to sing
Cause the pain that you’ve been feeling
It can’t compare to the joy that’s coming
Come on you gotta wait for the light
Press on and just fight the good fight
Cause the pain you’ve been feeling
It’s just the hurt before the healing
“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” Psalm 46:10 ESV⠀
Sometimes remaining still and silent speaks volumes. ⠀
We serve a God who controls the wind, the sea, and every living creature on this earth. The oceans roar His greatness and the mountains split apart to display His power. But yet they maintain a balance between active worship and peaceful rest in Him who also calms the seas.⠀
There is a time for singing our praises to God, but there is also a time to just sit before Him in silence and stillness. It's a time for restoring peace to our anxious souls.⠀
No matter where we are, He knows our circumstances intimately. Being still is intentionally partaking in a different form of worship. It's a worship that quietly speaks volumes.⠀
"I trust you, God, and I need your abiding presence to fill my soul more than I need anything else on this earth."⠀
If the oceans can roar His greatness in their fury and also reflect the peace of God in their stillness, how much more should we, who are made in His very image, reflect His greatness and peace?⠀
What is one circumstance in your life where you need to intentionally practice worshipping God in your stillness and accept the peace He has to offer you in your situation? | Kaylie ⠀

Okay....Here’s the deal....this is what I won’t do for you as a personal branding photographer....I’m NOT going to copy, imitate or recreate things you or I have seen 👀from other people.
The main word in personal branding photo sessions? Personal. It’s about you. And who you’re speaking to.
My job?.....is to help you say hello 👋 to your clients and customers....not someone you admire or want to emulate.
And the same goes for me....I’m not going to start editing and creating images that fall outside who my clients are either.
Can we seek inspiration together? YES!! And we highlight YOU, and YOUr clients specifically. Creating a visual hello specialized to your people.
If you’d like to chat about how personal branding photography could help you build engagement and say hello 👋 ...email me! I’d love to learn more about you and your work over a cup of coffee ☕️.

“Most of all, love each other as if your life depended on it. Love makes up for practically anything. Be quick to give a meal to the hungry, a bed to the homeless—cheerfully. Be generous with the different things God gave you, passing them around so all get in on it: if words, let it be God’s words; if help, let it be God’s hearty help. That way, God’s bright presence will be evident in everything through Jesus, and he’ll get all the credit as the One mighty in everything—encores to the end of time. Oh, yes!”

After my daughter was born 4.5 years ago, I had postnatal depression and anxiety. My anxiety was triggered from trauma as well as the PND. I found Cognitive Behavioural Therapy really helpful with the anxiety aspect, as it actually affirmed my ‘crazy’. It helped me to get to the roots. To see my instincts of fight or flight were important, but that they were just misplaced right now. ie. If a lion came to the door I’d need that instinct of flight - put my fear into action and escape the danger! But when I place that same fear in the context of walking down the street worrying if my toddler will fall in front of a car, so I avoided going out, the fear was misplaced. I worried if I was enough, if my milk was enough, if she’d scream when we were out. I worried that my babysitter would resent us if tantrums were had. I worried if they choked that they’d die. Anything small that I had previously been able to do seemed swamped by my fear, it either triggered fight with anger or flight to escape. Recently I realised after all our transitioning and moving internationally 3 times (here and back and here again!) with all the uncertainty, this anxiety had crept back in 3 years on. Read more about that in my previous post.
My QUESTION: If our words bring life or death (Proverbs 15&18) and we want to speak life over ourselves, what words/verses could you, or do you, speak over yourself to lessen your lions of anxiety?
Teething and sickness are not fun together, but I am getting some sweet snuggles. ❤️❤️
I couldn’t see it. I just blamed my ‘bad parenting’ rather than a broken spirit. I felt judged. I felt unsettled that something wasn’t right. And then I realised. I was afraid. Afraid of the worst case scenarios. This was familiar. lt was the same feeling I’d had 4 years ago when I’d had postnatal depression and anxiety. This was my heart last week. The lion was back, but he wasn’t fighting in my corner, he was prowling around trying to devour me.
I’ve been terrified of my kids experiencing trauma or pain or rejection, or death! I’ve been leading myself out of fear not love. I’ve been anxious that something would happen that I wouldn’t be able to deal with and I’d end up causing them reason to reject me! My mind has been a battlefield but I wasn’t even aware I was at war. .
I don’t know what your biggest fears are but these are mine. That my kids would be broken beyond repair and that it would be all my fault. .
I suddenly saw it, and as I shared it with my friend she said she’d seen it too. What should I do? I don’t want to just change my parenting to fix my fear. I want to uproot the fear and let freedom change me.
So the last week I’ve been staring at myself in the mirror, and saying “I am not afraid” “I am loved”.
I do not have a spirit of fear. There is no fear in love and I want to be led by Love Himself, led by the Holy Spirit not the Spirit of fear. I want to face my lions, declaring I am not afraid and see them shrink to kittens.
My words are powerful, I can let the fear monologue reign or I can cut it down with Truth.
Join us at 11.0am EST @christianmotherhood to talk #anxiety and #postpartumdepression#postnataldepression - I’ll be sharing about lions and the fight or flight response we all have. .
When does your anxiety lion surface??

Yes, this planner helps you seek and fulfill the plans God has for you every day, but that doesn't mean that we shouldn't be surrendering these plans right back to The Lord. This planner is here to help you remember to seek Him first, organize the tasks, plans, and desires God has placed on your heart for the day, and focus on what matters most - His will. However, it is easy to get caught up in this idea that once its down on paper, it can't be changed! It must get done! NO! As believers, we don't live by the standards of this world, and that includes the standards of perfection and "must do it all syndrome." We live by the will of Jesus, with direction given to us through the Holy Spirit. We live with arms open wide, willing and able to follow the Lord wherever He leads us. That means that He can shake up plans He has given us. That means we have to submit our planners right back to Him, even though we sought Him first before filling them out. Its tricky, but its the most freeing way to live. Why? Because if our days didn't turn out as planned, we know its because we followed Holy Spirit and trusted His will. We don't have to feel defeated if we didn't check everything off our to-do list. We just get to live, knowing His purpose is always fulfilled because we are in full surrender to Him. Amen! Doesn't that feel good? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
How are you surrendering your plans to Him today? You can grab this planner at the link in my bio. pre-orders are happening NOW! Life is never as we imagine it to be. There are no fairytale endings and that's hard for us as women to come to terms with when we've been spoonfed the story our entire adolescence.
As little girls, we plan on finding the perfect guy, and then getting married. Yep, already a recipe for a happy ending. But, what happens when life doesn't turn out the way you planned it to go?
Today on #thecouragecast@trulyabby_ shares her story. She was the girl who thought she would have the fairytale ending until one day it wasn't a fairytale anymore.
At the other side of divorce, Abby talks about the struggle to move forward, the women who rallied to be at her side and the beauty she has found in telling her story to help other women. #poscastforwomen#gatherwomen#relationships
It's been said before, fear is false evidence appearing real.
Let's see fear for what it really is and choose to listen to the voice of truth! 🙌🏼💕
Have you ever heard or received a benediction at the end of a church service? The word "benediction" means "the utterance or bestowing of a blessing," and when a benediction is given, the hearers are asked to hold out their arms and open up their hands. They are invited to put themselves in a surrendered posture that says to the Lord, "Let this Word be real in my own life. I believe what You say. I'm here. I am ready to receive.”
It is always good news when God’s truth is spoken. So today we speak this truth from God’s Word over you. Maybe set down your phone and open your hands, if you feel that's what God is asking you to do.
. “May Christ dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God." -Ephesians 3:17-19.
A benediction is literally a good word meant to be spoken over you, so let this Word sit heavy and full on your heart, ears, and hands. Don't forget that the best Word God has ever spoken is Christ. In Christ, you are immeasurably blessed. You have everything that you need in Him.
So keep your hands open, friends.
Don't keep you fists and heart closed, keep surrendering.
He is worth it all.
Will you trust God today? It’s a simple yes, or no. #choosewisely
Sitting here always re-working these ads!
You guys know I love ads on social media....
I tested letting Instagram pick my audience, instead of picking my own...
And it was a dud with IG....
So the lesson here is to pick your own audience....
Locally or Internationally keep the targets at about 200,000
Then rinse and repeat....
Additionally, as a social media advertiser, before you can actually ask them to purchase anything from your business, you need to establish a connection that could stir their minds so they would consider purchasing from you.
A very important reminder when using social media is to help increase audience awareness of your brand by focusing on organic social media posting and strengthening your top performing content. The reaction of your virtual audience serves as your guide on how to tickle their minds about what you offer...... So relationships matter!
Hope this helps!
Hi beautifuls, time alone with God is so rewarding.💕When God speaks I listen. Are you listening to the voice of God?
Somethings should be kept PRIVATE between you and God.
There are women who envy, use, and despise you with a smile for your gifts. They either want to: ———————
Yes there are women who don’t plan on bettering themselves-that’s too much work and takes too much time for them. So their only mission is to keep you distracted so you don’t accomplish yours.
They want you to share your wisdom, gifts, dreams, ideas, blessings and life stories so they can morph into you. Remember some people become what they’re FED! People will study you and take notes for the wrong reasons. In other words if they envied you, they want you to envy them now. So they look for your weak spots. If you must share, share with like minds that are just as ambitious as you are! Those who dream just as big as you do. Seek God first (make it a habit)!! God always reveal to me to protect me. Love it💕
It is better to mourn someone’s success than to celebrate their failures. But stay before God He will reveal and disconnect you from DIRTY CONNECTIONS that will contaminate you by association.😳
Be careful of the company you keep. Remember no one can be you, but they can distract you from who you’re called to be. Blessings 💕#discernment and #wisdom working together. Let the enemy know,”no weapon shall PROSPER not one!😜
John 15:15, Colossians 3:12-14, James 2:23
Prayer: God, it is humbling to know you call those who have invited You in to be their Lord and Savior, friends. Thank You! Lord, I pray we increase the bond of our friendship with you, by intentionally setting aside time to enter fellowship with You. Thank You for the love You have for each of us. Jesus, cause us to value and appreciate this friendship and love we share in a way we cannot help but be compelled to share the Your very nature with others, because we desire they too have a Friend like You. Lord, You are so good. From this goodness, remind us to never forget to clothe ourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, sharing with others what You share with us. In Your name we pray, amen.
MARK your calendars for our girls night!
We can't wait to see you all!
Invite your girl friends, sisters, cousins and get ready to have a fun and refreshing night together 🖤 •

I am brave, I am bruised,
I am who I'm meant to be, this is me. // Except that I’m not always brave, and I’m not always grateful for the bruises. Today I shared coffee and heart with a friend, and we both resonated with the perfectionist inside us that burns to be good, and right, and flawless. Because if we’re broken, how can we be good enough? If we fail, how can we live with ourselves? ...The real question is how can we NOT live with grace for ourselves when it’s already been offered wholly on the cross. And how can we not live in wholeness when He promised that even in our failure, He’d accept our pieces? “There is no way but a broken way,” says @AnnVoskamp. “You become real when you make every situation, every suffering, every single moment, into a way to lead you into closer communion with Christ.”
Bruises aren’t shameful; they just show you were tough enough to take the blow. Messing up isn’t the end of the world, but it can be if you let it. I hurt my husband, I let down my family, I disappoint friends and most of all the Lord, daily. This is life’s sorrow. Why does the song “This is Me” resonate with people so much? Because it’s message is simple: I’m not perfect, but I know my worth. My story is broken, but I don’t have to live in the past. I hurt, but I will keep living in the moment and fighting for what I’m passionate for.
Raise your hand if you have a case of the winter blues or seasonal depression. 🙋🏾♀️ “I want to talk about something because I think we need to. And usually, as believers, we don’t. We think we need to have it all together, hiding behind a mask that says everything is fine on the outside, all the while reeling from a dark aching pain in our hearts. It's common in evangelical circles to think we need to hide our feelings. Hide the sadness, hide the hurt, and hide the depression that is weighing our souls down. We listen to the lies- it's shameful, it's weakness, it’s selfish. We put on that “happy face” and pretend we can conquer the world, all the while feeling like we want to crawl in a hole by ourselves and cry. Ultimately, we can often find ourselves in places of doubt, protest, abandonment, and despair...”

👋🏼 Greetings CELLULITE 👋🏼⠀
As women, we are often ashamed of our skin. Whether it’s cellulite, acne, dry patches, oddly placed hairs or blemishes, we feel like these things make us less beautiful. ⠀
Why? Because most media outlets do not release images with these “imperfections” put on display. We are taught to be perfect in every way- including our skin. ⠀
And although the angle and shadows in this picture don’t highlight all of my cellulite, I will be the first to say that I have it. And you know what? It doesn’t make me any less beautiful. In fact, it contributes to my beauty. ⠀
What’s your take on cellulite? Is it discussed enough? Let me know your thoughts below 🙋🏼♀️👇🏼
I feel like sharing a vulnerable post with you, friends. Here it goes.
Until today, I hadn’t gone for a walk or a hike since October. I went on a hike with two friends in October against the orders of my treatment team. To me, it seemed perfectly reasonable to go on a hike knowing very well that my body could fail me in the process rather than to tell two of my oldest friends who know my love of hiking “no” and face the potentials questions of “why,” because saying no to a hike would have been so out of character for me. (In hindsight: 🤦🏼♀️)
I don’t know why I had yet to return to walking or hiking for so long even after being cleared by my team. I think maybe I didn’t want to think about how much muscle mass I had lost when I was sick, which would lead to thoughts of having “let myself go” and could turn into a downward spiral quick if I let it. Today, though, Matt was at my house with Cooper and I decided we should go for a walk.
In the 1.1 miles we walked I was indeed reminded of the muscle loss, but I was also reminded that I turned to God in my darkest moment and He fought for me. He gave me the opportunity for a second chance at this thing called life, and let me tell you... it‘s worth it. In just over one month I get to marry the most perfect man for me, and we get to do life together out here in Scottboro-Bells Bend. I couldn’t be more grateful. 💛
DAY 19 // Psalm 1:3✨
She is like a tree, with roots that go down deep into the earth and connect to the river nearby. It may not be visible from above but hidden deep below those roots are life. They are the source for the tree, if the roots are damaged then the tree will be- it won’t be able to bear fruit, sustain its leaves, or prosper. But when those roots are deep and drawing life the tree is fruitful. That water is Him and His Word. It sustains and produces life with in us.

Sweet Kelsey's session was three years ago. She was actually my first session when I realized I wanted to start photographing women in a stylized manner. Customizing each woman to her own mood, posing & how she wants to feel - it gives me goosebumps and thrills in my tummy just thinking back to this moment 💕Babes, I cried my eyes out editing her images!
Think back to the moment you started. What did it feel like, and why did you make that ultimate decision? Did you feel like a kid? Excitement, exhilaration in your chest? I know for me, I loved the creativity in my head - ideas honestly bursting out in every single direction! The power to make something beautiful from #vibranthearts, to help someone outside of myself, to serve the world humbly!
How lovely and nostalgic it was to look back upon these images, upon Kelsey's light in her eyes. I am so blessed to have a friend like her - this lady is the best, most patient mama to her little girl. She has learned to give her heart space, to love her heart more than ever before!
What’s the reason you started your passion work, and how have you grown? Think back and give yourself time to celebrate! Let me do a white girl dance party for you - share with me below, babe! ✨🎉 What are you proud of yourself for achieving?
