Who wants a little arm workout to help work on strength and definition? 💪🏼 1️⃣ 5 sets x 5 reps assisted pull ups (I’m on 20kg assistance but dropping every week, it’s important to keep pushing yourself) 2️⃣ x3 supersets: - x15 DB overhead tricep extension - x15 tricep pulldown 3️⃣x3 supersets: - x15 reps wide grip lat pull downs - x15 push ups For a little burner to finish x100 reps BB bicep curls (I use 10kg) 🔥do as many reps as you can without stopping, take a short rest and continue until you reach 100! I can normally do 50 followed by another 50! (You can thank me later 😂)

GUESS WHO JUST WORKED LEGS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN OVER THREE WEEKS?!? My physical therapist told me I could try out some static body weight exercises like lunges & squats, and then add some weight if my back doesn’t bother me, so that’s what I did.😎 I’m still not able to do any jumping/impact movements, but honestly don’t think I’m in shape enough for those yet anyways because this workout kicked my 🍑😅. She also said it’s especially important for me to do some glute activation work before any leg day so I stop relying so much on my quads/hamstrings, and to really focus on engaging my core to keep my back from getting re-injured. ANYWAYS here’s what I did: • • SUPERSET x3. ▪️15x weighted Bulgarian split squats (per leg). ▪️20x sumo squats (focus on pushing knees out). SUPERSET x3. ▪️24x weighted walking lunges (push up from heel of front leg, keep upright- don’t bend over front thigh). ▪️20x light weight regular squats (again, push knees out). SUPERSET x3. ▪️10x weighted step ups (per leg) ▪️12x barbell curtsy lunges (per leg). SUPERSET x3. ▪️20x glute bridges with feet on bosu ball. ▪️10x single leg glute bridges with bosu (per leg). CARDIO COOL DOWN: 30 minutes incline walk on treadmill. • • Honestly, I was getting a little too caught up in doing as much as possible in the gym before, but this injury was a reminder that technique is EVERYTHING. Doing a shorter workout with less reps & focusing on form is a lot more beneficial than cranking out 100’s of sloppy squats. Now let’s see how sore I am tomorrow morning because I can hardly walk up the stairs right now😂.

Girl talk. . I had a beautiful friend ask me if I ever experienced certain emotional symptoms before my period. GIRL DO I EVER. My mom used to tell me “I don’t even recognize you” the week before I got the visit from Aunt Flow. . Anyone else? . I once took an abnormal psych class that talked about PMDD (Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder) and it described me to a T - which freaked me out. This disorder is in the DSM-V with the primary symptom being irritability. A mental illness? I am still unsure how I feel about this but the stigma around mental illness is going to be an ongoing struggle. I grew up being surrounded by the stigmas but also have family members (and myself) who suffer from depression. Mental health is everyone’s business so let’s take care of it! . Crazy to think this was only one week ago in sunny Miami 😎👙 I I remember feeling mentally & physically strong... I just hit a PB at @barrysbootcamp & felt ready to embrace the holiday season in London ✨ A week on I have just spent the afternoon on the sofa watching Home Alone with my family devouring a box of celebrations (of course the maltesers went first) 🍫 Finding balance during this period isn’t easy, I look to enjoy the treats but still keep up my workouts.. fitness helps with ‘my’ balance and makes January a hell of a lot easier! Find a groove which works for you during this festive period... • • In previous years I remember thinking because I am enjoying a festive diet there is absolutely no point in exercising. Infact not exercising usually results in eating even more treats for me!! Please do not fall into my past trap of negativity thinking a festive diet results in exercise being pointless! It’s simply not true - I highly recommend keeping up those workouts in December Piggys. #Repost @natalieafit ・・・ (Jan-now) To think I wanted to stay ‘skinny’ and ‘just tone’ at the time of the first pic.. not gain any fat but grow my glutes etc etc, I was clueless. people ask me alllll the time “how did you grow without gaining any fat❓” I HAVE GAINED FAT. That difference in weight gain is fat included, because you really can’t gain weight / muscle / glutes (anything) without also gaining some fat, and that can be hard to accept and be okay with. I still have days sometimes where I try not to eat so much because in the back of my mind the idea of getting bigger is not good if it means more fat too. eating is FOR GROWING, whether that be for normal cellular processes or when we want muscle gains. Don’t set an ‘ideal weight’ as your goal, reach your goals and track progress by judging how you feel and look and know that food is almost more important than the training itself so eat eat 🍌🥞🍗🍒

❄️Snow days❄️ call for Pumpkin Zoats (zucchini-oats) with banana🍌 and PB🥜 • Recipe: using medium-heat on the stovetop, add half a cup of oats, half a grated/shredded zucchini🥒, and 1 cup of almond milk to a small pan. Let cook for 5-10 minutes, stirring regularly. Add ~1/2 cup of organic canned pumpkin🎃 and cook for another minute or so. Turn off heat & sweeten to taste (I used a little maple syrup). Celebrating 1 YEAR of BBG workouts.....🎉🎉🎉 . I’m actually not even sure where to start with this milestone. When I started back with BBG after my second baby my goal was to simply make it to 12 Weeks, as I had a few false starts. I never imagined I would get to a 1 year anniversary, as so many of the girls I followed & motivated me along the way had already achieved. At some point in the journey I no longer had a goal I was working towards, but a lifestyle I want to live forever. Not only this, I have not stepped foot in a gym once this year, nor have I ‘dieted’ ! I absolutely love what this program has done for my body & mind. 🙏🏼 . #kaylaversary

My face as I examine the training schedule I wrote up for myself today. Mix of #bbg, #weights, #pilates and #barre. Will definitely be needing coffee. ☕️😂 At the start of this year through consistent diet, exercise, proper medication and management I got back the best blood work I’ve ever had in my life. My last set was one of the worst I’ve had in ages. SO, here I go, changing directions and building it back up. I’m pretty excited. This is going to be fun. 🙃💪 #charlievslupus 👊💥
