What a great weekend of learning, trying new foods, meeting new organizations focused in animal cruelty, veganism, vegetarian, plant-based and others I was not even aware of, and meeting amazing vendors!
Although I do not label myself as one or the other (vegan, plant-based) am more of a little bit of both. I learned that being either or goes beyond being one or the other but that we are all ONE and we are all in to prevent and STOP animal cruelty but also to save our planet 🌎. Animal agriculture is the leading cause of global warming!!!!! Let’s help our planet, our animals and our health! There is so much we can do and if you are not sure of how to start or even why to start. I recommend you see some of these documentaries on Netflix. ✅#cowspiracy ✅#fedup #fedupmovie ✅#whatthehealth #whatthehealthfilm ✅#forksoverknives
All of these have opened my eyes about food and politics, health and ways we can help! If we keep on the meat industry van wagon our home 🌎 will keep suffering. We will see more natural disasters like hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Maria, the fires in California, the Earthquake in Mexico will continue and worsen. We might not even get a chance to see our kids grow, and their kids. Let’s help us!
