When John went to Kuwait and he told me about all the camels he was seeing I suggested he should look for one and try and take a selfie ... pretty sure he didn't understand my little project I gave him because he sent me this shirt... so of course I took a selfie 💚😜

Breaking: The Brewers have submitted an offer to Free Agent RHP Yu Darvish.
⚾️ Darvish is the most coveted starting pitcher in this free agency class. In 2017, he went 10-12, with a 3.86 ERA. He has a variety of great pitches, and has been referenced as “someone you would create in a video game”. 🍺 Some concerns with Darvish are his age (31), his World Series struggles, and the reports that he tipped his pitches in the World Series. However, he’s only been in the majors since 2012, so age is a concern. Also, he was clearly fatigued in the World Series, as LA clearly overworked him. With a new team who he’s with for an entire season, this could be handled better. The tipping of pitches could also be easily fixed by his next pitching coach.
⚾️ The Brewers being in the mix for Darvish is a bit of a surprise. Darvish has been linked all offseason to the Rangers, Cubs, Yankees, and Twins. Not once has he been linked to the Brewers. It makes sense though. The Brewers just barley missed out on the postseason. Darvish could be exactly what the doctor ordered, as they need an ace to lead this pitching staff. Also, with teams like the Cardinals, Giants, and Mets getting better, the Brewers need to respond to remain in the wild card hunt. ⚾️ I actually like the fit for both sides. Darvish can come in be exactly what the Brewers need, and in return Darvish gets to be the ace of a young team on the rise. I think it’s between the Brewers and the Twins. I still think he ends up in Minnesota, but I think it’s a toss up. 🍺 What is your take on this? Is this a good idea for the Brewers? Where will Darvish go? Comment below!
