I know its Thursday but ahead of #pla#plantfailay this is my beloved Dragon Tree.
It's about 8 years old and 5ft. For a long time its been droopy and had very crispy ends. So after much (very contradictory) research I decided to check the roots and cut off any that were squidy, repotted into better soil (the soil I had before was garbage), and put him in a new, brighter home, since the internet told me he needed more sunlight. Even though a year ago I took him out of sunlight because he was burning. And still droopy. 😑🤦♀️🤷♀️
Well!!! I think too much too quick, as in his new home (east facing window with humidity) he VERY rapidly started to go BRIGHT RED, & then yellow. Literally nowhere have I found out why he started to go red. 🤷♂️
He is now in a new home which is bright but no sun. Let's see how we get on!
Also - I've read these are very fluoride sensitive but there is no way I am buying bottled water for a plant as the internet suggests.
