I love the @beingbossclub podcast so much! This part of episode #150 really spoke to me. I feel like I always just need to figure out or do just one more thing before I'm ready to start something. And I never run out of "just one more things." For the rest of Feb, my goal will be to just get started and stop over preparing because my pencil is sharp enough to write what I need to write. ❤📚📝
You have to love yourself before you can give yourself to another 💕 take care of yourselves ladies, I’ll say it a million times...you can’t pour from an empty cup.
We’re all human & we’re all doing our best. Let’s be kind to ourselves & grant ourselves a little Grace. It’s ok to need a break. Love yourself first & love yourself more 💕 you deserve it!
Today I want to talk about scars. Every human being on earth carries these, some on the outside, some on the inside. We can choose to hide them in shame, or we can see them as a reminder for how far we have come. Our scars can become a beacon of hope for someone else who is going through hell and is doubting their survival.
Through our scars we can say, "I survived!" We can look back and remember the pain of that moment, but also rejoice in where we are.
Many scars take years to heal. Some feel fresh and new every day. Some scars do heal after time, and while we can remember the pain, we don't have to carry it anymore.
I carry scars. I'm in the midst of new ones. Scars are painfully gotten, but I can truthfully say that each of my scars tell a story. And because of those scars I have grown as a person, and been able to reach out and help others heal.
We have the incredible ability to touch each other in our brokenness. Sometimes our scars are doors to new friendships, new and life giving connections.
Your scars tell your story....you are beautiful.
