Holy crap! I have been looking forward to week 5 for a month now because there is finally a REAL LEG DAY! And two burnouts at the end!! So exciting! I almost died! Decided to spend 20 minutes stretching and foam rolling so I can hopefully walk tomorrow. @kelseywells totally nailed it!!! 😳💪🏻🏋🏼♀️
Week 5 Chest and Tris from "home" 💪
This week my husband and I are staying at my aunt's house while they are on holiday 👏 We sold our own house in October and moved in with my sister to her flat while we build our new home. As lucky as we are to be able to do this we are thoroughly enjoying some SPACE 🙌 and time to ourselves 👫🐶 .
However this means I need to put getting home to our little doggo first and that may mean not getting to the gym. Funny how after over two years of working out purely at home I felt a bit 👎 about not getting to the gym. I was quickly back into the swing of adapting my workout to what I have available and remembered the reasons I loved working out at home... No sharing equipment, not having to wear a top over my sports bra 😂, not having to travel there and back, getting to eat my dinner then collapse on the sofa straight after!

The start of a new week and a new challenge! It’s #paleolife for me these next 4 weeks. The closest thing I’ve tried to paleo is @whole30 and it was amaaazing! 🌱🙌🏼 Except I always thought paleo was more strict than #whole30 and from what I’ve read on google, it sounds like the other way around. 🤔 Can anyone clear this up for me? What did you do today to prepare for the week ahead?
I went grocery shopping and meal prepped, went for a nice outdoor walk & just did an awesome @amandabisk#freshbodyfitmind night time yoga flow. I’m feeling so relaxed and ready to hit the gym in the morning! Happy Sunday ❤️

🏋🏼♀️ Legs & Abs
Can you see the panic in my eyes? 😂 I was taking a longer than usual break after squats and one round of superset abs. Holy wow. Not sure what’s gotten into me, but I’ve felt zapped the last couple days. Could be the weather or stress or I could be coming down with something, but let’s hope that’s not the case 🤞🏻 what do you do to help ward off sickness or boost energy? I’m currently chugging a smoothie full of vitamins/electrolytes.
This is the first week that my workouts really have not gone as planned (crowded gyms, working late hours, emotional breakdowns... it’s been a week) but that’s OK! I’m still showing up when I can and doing my best with what I have. And I’m still making progress, even if less than previous weeks. I just remember that every week is different and it will improve.
Also, the weather here is warming up which hopefully means spring is closer than I think 🙏🏻☀️🌷 Please send sun!
