RIP Chief Steven DiSario.
Chief of Police Steven DiSario was shot and killed while responding to reports of an armed subject outside of a nursing home on Main Street.
As he arrived on scene, he notified dispatchers that he had the subject in sight. As he made contact with the subject, he was shot and fatally wounded in front of the nursing home. The subject then went into the nursing home and murdered his girlfriend, who worked in the nursing home, and a second employee.
The subject was also found deceased inside the nursing home.
Chief DiSario had only served with the Kirkersville Police Department for three weeks. He is survived by his expectant wife and six children. 🇺🇸
I failed this week. Straight up.... won’t lie or even try to hide it. .
The background: so I’ve been in an online coaching/consulting business for 2 years after I had to get done the job due to an injury. I taught myself how to get this business up and running and keep it going. I’ve successfully done that the last 2 years and replaced my income as a cop. .
So I’ve been online and seeing a trend. I see A LOT of police officers and their spouses who have online businesses, but they are not making money, building a loyal following of ppl and their social media is off... So I said hell there is no one in the U.S. focusing on teaching sheepdogs the ins and outs of an online business- I am a sheepdog and marrying one myself. So who better? .
Well I made this entire program and built an entire website within 5 days for sheepdog nation.... and I messed it up. I didn’t make it relatable to you and I wasn’t clear on what exactly I do and what the result you’d get by even taking my free training. .
Yeah. So I failed. BUT I’ll have you know I went back and made changes to make it 100% clear for you. SO if you are a sheepdog, want to grow your existing business OR want to start an online business and feel like you’d want to learn from someone who was just like you? .
Go take the training on my website. (There we 2) link in my bio ⚫️💙⚫️
So you want to start an online business... you’re working full time... you have a family... you’re busy AF and/or YOU JUST DON’T KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN?... I have a FREE training JUST FOR SHEEPDOGS and their families in my bio.
So go to my profile
@theladysheepdog and then click link in bio... then wallah!
If you have questions let me know ⚫️💙⚫️
Sure, you’ll get knocked down. You’ll meet road blocks. You’ll feel like the thing you are doing is the hardest thing ever to do.
But never quit. .
We don’t quit- we simply recalibrate ⚫️💙⚫️
Agree? Let me know 👇🏻
I have pulled dead, mangled bodies from cars. Lied to people as they were dying, assuring them that they were going to be fine, as I held their hand and watched the life fade from their eyes. I have held dying babies. Bought lunch for those who were poor and haven't eaten in a while. I have had people try to stab me, fought with men trying to shoot me, been attacked by women who have had the shit kicked out of them by their husband as I was arresting him. I have held towels on bullet wounds, done CPR when I knew it wouldn't help, just to make family members feel better. I have torn down doors, fought in drug houses, chased fugitives though the woods. I have been in high speed car chases, in foot chases across an interstate during rush hour traffic. I have been in car crashes. I have been in situations where I was squeezing the trigger, about to kill a person before they came to their senses and stopped. Waded through large angry crowds by myself. Drove like a mad man to help a fellow officer. Let little kids who don't have much sit in my patrol car and pretend they are a cop for their birthday. I have taken a lot of people to jail, given even more people second chances. Prayed for people I don't even know. Yes, at times I have been violent when I had to be. I have been kind when I could. I admit I have drove to some dark place and cried by myself when I was overwhelmed. I have missed Christmas and other holidays more than I wanted too. Every cop I know has done all these things and more for lousy pay, crappy hours and dangerous working conditions, just because they want to help people. We don't want your pity, we don't care for your respect. Just let us do our jobs in peace. Don't heckle us, don't make fun of us.
Don't put a target on our back.

Just because you build a side hustle doesn’t mean you HATE THE JOB!!! Quite honestly it usually is the opposite reason.... and most officers I know enjoy serving other officers and their families! .
Having something that takes your mind off the job, evokes your passions again and is something that will benefit you in the future as your possible 2nd retirement...
I’d say that’s a win-win. .
So don’t think that just because I got hurt on the job I don’t miss or love it, don’t think I talk about business all the time bc I think it’s better then police work. I don’t. But I see a lot of cops (and their wives) have side hustles and could use a little direction. (That’s where I come in) .
It’s all for the love of sheepdogs and keeping the family mentally and financially healthy. ⚫️💙⚫️
